The championships were organised by the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and the International Tennis Federation.

Alexander Zverev defeated Stefan Kozlov in the final, 6–3, 6–0 to win the boys' singles tennis title at the 2014 Australian Open.

Jay Andrijic and Bradley Mousley were the defending champions, but Andrijic was no longer eligible to participate.
Mousley successfully defended the title with Lucas Miedler, defeating Quentin Halys and Johan-Sébastien Tatlot in the final, 6–4, 6–3.

Andrey Andreyevich Rublev is a Russian professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as world No. 5 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), which he first achieved in September 2021. Rublev has won 12 ATP Tour singles titles. He has a career-high doubles ranking of No. 53, achieved on 15 August 2022. He has won three doubles titles and is an Olympic gold medalist, winning the mixed doubles title at the 2020 Summer Olympics with Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.

Borna Ćorić was the defending champion, having won the event in 2013, but elevated to Men's Singles instead as a qualifier.

Kamil Majchrzak and Martin Redlicki were the defending champions, having won the event in 2013. However, neither participated in the 2014 event; Redlicki's age by the 2014 event's qualifying cutoff made him ineligible to continue to participate in junior events and Majchrzak chose not to participate.

John Peers and Filip Polášek defeated Aslan Karatsev and Andrey Rublev in the final, 6–3, 7–6(7–5) to win the men's doubles tennis title at the 2021 Indian Wells Masters.
