RTL 4 is a Dutch free TV channel; it is the most-watched commercial station in the country, popular especially with those aged between 20 and 49. RTL 4 is a general entertainment channel with infotainment, television drama, talk shows, game shows, news and talent shows. It is owned by RTL Nederland, a subsidiary of RTL Group. The station has three sister TV channels: RTL 5, RTL 7 and RTL 8, and four thematic TV channels: RTL Z, RTL Lounge, RTL Crime and RTL Telekids.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">K3 (group)</span> Belgian-Dutch girl group

K3 is a Belgian-Dutch girl group with a Dutch-language pop repertoire, consisting of Hanne Verbruggen, Marthe De Pillecyn, and Julia Boschman. In addition to music, they are also central to many cinema films, television series and musicals. The signature style and iconicity of K3 rely on all three girls mostly wearing the same outfit, and they are traditionally a redhead, a brunette, and a blonde. Throughout its career, K3 has built a space within Dutch and Belgian pop culture, becoming one of the most successful groups of the Benelux. The group's name is derived from the first letters of the three first members from 1998: Karen Damen, Kristel Verbeke, and Kathleen Aerts.

America's Got Talent is a televised American talent show competition, and is part of the global Got Talent franchise created by Simon Cowell. The program is produced by Fremantle USA and Syco Entertainment, and broadcasts on the NBC television network. It premiered on June 21, 2006, after plans for a British edition in 2005 were suspended, following a dispute within the British broadcaster ITV. Production would later resume in 2007, following the success of the first season. Each season is mainly run during the network's summer schedule, and has featured various hosts over the course of the program's history. The current host is Terry Crews.

<i>The Voice UK</i> British talent competition series

The Voice UK is a British singing reality competition television series. Created by John de Mol and Roel van Velzen, it premiered on BBC One on 24 March 2012. Based on the original Dutch singing competition The Voice of Holland, and part of The Voice franchise, it has aired twelve series and aims to find currently unsigned singing talent contested by aspiring singers, drawn from public auditions. Presented by Emma Willis since 2014, it was previously presented by Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates from 2012 to 2013 and Marvin Humes from 2014 to 2016. The winners receive a recording contract with Universal Music Group. Winners of each series have been: Leanne Mitchell, Andrea Begley, Jermain Jackman, Stevie McCrorie, Kevin Simm, Mo Adeniran, Ruti Olajugbagbe, Molly Hocking, Blessing Chitapa, Craig Eddie, Anthonia Edwards, Jen & Liv and AVA.

<i>The Voice Kids</i> (Philippine TV series) Philippine television reality show

The Voice Kids is a Philippine television reality talent competition show broadcast by ABS-CBN, Kapamilya Channel and GMA Network. Based on the Dutch television series The Voice Kids, it is a spin-off of The Voice of the Philippines. Originally directed by Johnny Manahan, it was originally hosted by Luis Manzano and Alex Gonzaga. It premiered on May 24, 2014, on ABS-CBN's Yes Weekend line up. Dingdong Dantes served as the host for the most recent season.

The fifth season of the Dutch reality singing competition The Voice of Holland, created by media tycoon John de Mol, aired during 2014 on RTL4. Martijn Krabbé and Wendy van Dijk returned as co-hosts, while Jamai Loman replaced Winston Gerschtanowitz as host of the red room. Marco Borsato, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Ilse DeLange and Ali B returned as coaches.

The eighth season of the Dutch reality singing competition The Voice of Holland premiered on 20 October 2017 on RTL4. Hosts Martijn Krabbé, Wendy van Dijk, and Jamai Loman all returned, as did Sanne Hans, Waylon, and Ali B as coaches, while season 7 coach Guus Meeuwis was replaced with Anouk, who served as a coach on season 6.

Buddy Vedder is a Dutch actor and television presenter. He is known for playing the role of Rover Dekker in the soap opera Goede tijden, slechte tijden. He played lead roles in the musicals Murder Ballad (2020) and Saturday Night Fever (2024). Vedder is also a jury member in the television show The Masked Singer.
