The St. Cloud State Huskies women's ice hockey program represented St. Cloud State University during the 2014-15 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. Despite a disappointing season, the team managed to upset nationally ranked Wisconsin on February 20, 2015, on the strength of 52 saves by goaltender Julie Friend.

St. Cloud State University (SCSU) is a public university in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Founded in 1869, the university is one of the largest institutions in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. Its enrollment in 2020 was approximately 16,000 students and it has over 120,000 alumni.

Michigan Technological University's sports teams are called the Huskies. The Huskies participate in NCAA Division II as a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), a member of the Central Collegiate Ski Association for men's and women's nordic skiing, and NCAA Division I Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) for men's ice hockey.

Craig Dahl is an American ice hockey coach. He was the head coach of St. Cloud State from 1987 thru 2005. After retiring from coaching for about six years, Dahl returned to help Chris Schultz at SUNY Geneseo starting in 2011-12.

The 2014-15 Golden Gophers program represented the University of Minnesota during the 2014-15 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The program advanced to the Frozen Four championship game for the fourth consecutive year and defeated the Harvard Crimson by a 4–1 tally in the title game.

Kathleen "Katie" Fitzgerald is an American ice hockey player who currently plays for the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA). She previously played for the Metropolitan Riveters in the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL). Having played NCAA hockey with the St. Cloud State Huskies, she was the first Husky to sign a contract in the NWHL.

William Borgen is an American professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL).

The 2020–21 St. Cloud State Huskies men's ice hockey season was the 86th season of play for the program, the 24th at the Division I level and the 8th in the NCHC conference. The Huskies represented St. Cloud State University and were coached by Brett Larson, in his 3rd season.
