Pullela Gopichand is a former Indian badminton player. Presently, he is the Chief National Coach for the Indian Badminton team. Chris Langridge Badminton player

Christopher Phillip Langridge is an English badminton player. He competed for England at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where he won three medals. He represented Great Britain at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and won a bronze medal in the men's doubles, partnered with Marcus Ellis. They also won gold medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2019 European Games.

Marcus Ellis Badminton player

Marcus Ellis is a British badminton player. He was the men's doubles champion in the 2016 English National Badminton Championships. Ellis and Chris Langridge won a bronze medal in the men's doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, also gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. At the 2019 Minsk European Games, Ellis captured two gold medals; in the men's doubles with Langridge and in the mixed doubles event with Lauren Smith.

Yuta Watanabe is a badminton player from Japan. He was a member of the Nihon Unisys team, and national team A representative. Watanabe has collected three bronze medals at the World Junior Championships, and also four bronze at the Asian Junior Championships. Watanabe was selected to join the Japanese mixed team compete at the 2017 Sudirman Cup in Gold Coast, Australia, winning a gold medal in the qualification to Gold Coast at the 2017 Asia Mixed Team Championships in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and the team finished in the semi-final round, took the bronze medal. The left-handed Watanabe won the maiden Super 1000 tournament at the 2018 All England Open in the mixed doubles event partnered with Arisa Higashino.

The 1990 English National Badminton Championships were held in Crawley, from 18-19 December, 1989. The event was sponsored by Oracle UK and was held in the December 1989 instead of early 1990 to avoid a clash with the 1990 Commonwealth Games.

The 1987 English National Badminton Championships were held in Crawley, from 3-4 February, 1987. The event was sponsored by Carlsberg.
