Liliyana Natsir is a Indonesian former badminton player who specialized in doubles. With one gold and silver from the Olympic Games, and four gold medals at the BWF World Championships, she is regarded as one of the greatest mixed doubles players of all-time. Natsir was the second Indonesian woman Olympic gold medalist, after Susi Susanti won gold in 1992. She gained huge success by partnering with two different players. Her last partner was Tontowi Ahmad after being separated from her previous partner, Nova Widianto. She also won three titles in a row from 2012–2014 at All England Badminton Championships, one of the most prestigious and oldest tournament in the sport. Her tactical awareness, game vision, and dominance at the front court are considered as one of the best in the tour. In 2016, she and Tontowi Ahmad became the first Indonesian mixed doubles pair to win gold medal at the Olympic Games after beating Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying of Malaysia. As of 2019, she holds the highest number of BWF World Championship titles for mixed doubles.

Ellis and Chris Langridge won a bronze medal in the men's doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, also gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. At the 2019 Minsk European Games, Ellis captured two gold medals; in the men's doubles with Langridge and in the mixed doubles event with Lauren Smith.

In 2005, he won the boys' and mixed doubles title at the English National Junior Championships partnered with Edward Foster and Jennifer Wallwork repeating the success with the same partners of the under 17 national championships in 2003. in his under 19 year, he also won the boys' and mixed doubles silver medals at the European JuniorChampionships. In 2007, Adcock competed at the World Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in the men's doubles event with Robin Middleton, and in 2008, he competed at the European Championships. Adcock who was partnered with Middleton was defeated in the quarter finals round to the 4th seeded German pair Kristof Hopp and Ingo Kindervater in the straight games.
Atu Rosalina Sagita is a former Indonesian badminton player, and now lived and playing badminton in England. Rosalina was part of the Indonesia junior team that won the girls' team silver at the 1999 Asian Junior Championships, and also won the bronze medal in the girls' singles event. She won the women's singles title at the 2001 Indonesian National Championships. Rosalina retired from the Indonesia national team in 2003, and moved to Brunei to work as sparing partner for the Royal Family. She then moved to Denmark and played at the Skælskør Badmintonklub in 2005, after that in France for the Chambly. Rosalina married to Agung Mandala, and lived in Colchester, England. As an English player, she was the semi-finalist at the 2016 National Championships, and reaching in to the final round in 2017.
