Atu Rosalina Sagita (born 16 June 1981) is a former Indonesian badminton player, and now lived and playing badminton in England. [1] Rosalina was part of the Indonesia junior team that won the girls' team silver at the 1999 Asian Junior Championships, [2] and also won the bronze medal in the girls' singles event. [3] She won the women's singles title at the 2001 Indonesian National Championships. [4] Rosalina retired from the Indonesia national team in 2003, and moved to Brunei to work as sparing partner for the Royal Family. She then moved to Denmark and played at the Skælskør Badmintonklub in 2005, after that in France for the Chambly. Rosalina married to Agung Mandala, and lived in Colchester, England. [5] As an English player, she was the semi-finalist at the 2016 National Championships, and reaching in to the final round in 2017. [1] [6]

She is the first Indonesian Olympic gold medalist and the only Indonesian woman to do so until Lilyana Natsir accomplished the feat in 2016.

Saina Nehwal Indian badminton player

Saina Nehwal is an Indian professional badminton singles player. A former world no. 1, she has won over 24 international titles, which includes eleven Superseries titles. Although she reached the world's 2nd in the 2009, it was only in 2015 that she was able to attain the world no. 1 ranking, thereby becoming the only female player from India and overall the second Indian player – after Prakash Padukone – to achieve this feat. She has represented India three times in the Olympics, winning a bronze medal in her second appearance.

Julie Jane Bradbury is a former English badminton player who represented Great Britain at the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games. Akane Yamaguchi is a Japanese badminton player who specializes in singles play. She won the singles titles at the World Junior Championships in 2013 and 2014; Asian Junior Championships in 2014; and at the Asian Championship in 2019. She also part of the Japanese winning team at the Asian Junior Championships in 2012; Asia Mixed Team Championships in 2017; Asia Women's Team Championships in 2018 and 2020; Asian Games in 2018; and at the Uber Cup in 2018. Yamaguchi was awarded as the Most Promising Player of the Year by the BWF in 2013 and 2014; and the Honorary Citizen Award by the mayor of Katsuyama in 2018.

Ruselli Hartawan Indonesian badminton player

Ruselli Hartawan is an Indonesian badminton player. She is the member of Jaya Raya Jakarta badminton club, and selected to join the national team in 2013. She competed in the girls' singles badminton at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China, but she was stopped in the quarter-finals after being defeated by Akane Yamaguchi of Japan. In 2017, she won the women's singles title at the national championships in Pangkal Pinang.

He Bingjiao is a Chinese badminton player. She began to receive intensive badminton training at the Suzhou Junior Sports School, when she was only 7 years old. Five years later, she was sent to study in Nanjing and for tougher training there. The junior already competed in the senior level, and made her first senior international debut at the 2013 Vietnam Open. In 2014 she competed at the Summer Youth Olympics, winning a gold medal in the girls' singles and a bronze in the mixed doubles event.

Hu was two times Asian Junior Champion in 1998 and 1999, also the runner-up in 1998 World Junior Championships. She won the senior title at the 2002 Malaysia Open, defeating the World No.1 women's singles player Camilla Martin.

Dong Fang is a former Chinese badminton player from Shashi, Hubei. Dong represented her country at the 1998 Asian Junior Championships winning a gold in the girls' team event, and two bronze medals in the girls' singles and doubles event. She also claimed the bronze medal in the girls' singles at the 1998 World Junior Championships. She won the senior international tournament at the 2000 German Open, beating her compatriot from Hubei, Hu Ting in straight games. Dong reached the semi-final round at the 2001 Asian Championships, but defeated by Wang Chen of Hong Kong, clinched the bronze medal.

Mona Santoso Indonesian badminton player

Mona Santoso is a former Indonesian badminton player, and later represented United States. Santoso was part of the Indonesia national team from 1998-2000. As a junior player, Santoso was the girls' singles champion at the 1998 Hong Kong Junior Championships, she also helped the Indonesian girls' team clinched the silver medal at the 1999 Asian Junior Championships, and the mixed team bronze medal at the 2000 World Junior Championships. Santoso won the women's doubles title at the 1999 Indonesian National Championships partnered with Vita Marissa. Santoso started her career as a badminton coach in Pola Bugar Club Jakarta from 2005-2006, and in 2006, she moved to Sunnyvale Community Center in Sunnyvale, California. Santoso then played for the United States, and won the U.S. National Championships title in 2008 and 2009.

Joo Hyun-hee is a South Korean badminton player. Joo has joined the Daekyo team when she was in the junior group age. She was part of the Korean girls' team that competed at the 1999 and 2000 Asian Junior Championships, winning the bronze and silver medal respectively. She also won the bronze medal in the girls' doubles event in both competitions. Joo later helped the national junior mixed team won the silver medal at the 2000 World Junior Championships in Guangzhou, China. In the senior international level, she was the runner-up at the 2005 and 2007 Canada International.
