Hungarian International

The Hungarian International in badminton is an international open held in Hungary since 1974. In the first years it was held every two years, and since 1978 it is held annually. The competition is typically held in autumn, and it belongs to the EBU Circuit. The Hungarian National Badminton Championships started in 1960.

The Swedish Open is an open badminton tournament that is annually held since 2018, previously from 1956 to 2000 after which the organizer, Svenska Badmintonförbundet, could no longer find a suitable sponsor. To some extent it has been replaced by the Swedish International Stockholm tournament.

The Badminton Asia Championships is a tournament organized by governing body Badminton Asia to crown the best badminton players in Asia.

The Pan American Badminton Championships is a tournament organized since 1977 by the Badminton Pan America (BPA) to crown the best badminton players in the Americas. The tournament was held every year from 1977 until 1980, then every two years from 1987 until 2007. The U.S. Open Badminton Championships is an annual badminton tournament first held in 1954 when the American Badminton Association opened the U.S. National Badminton Championships to foreign competition. During the 1950s and 1960s it often attracted the world's top players. The 2015 Yonex Suffolk County Community College US Open Championships, held in Brentwood, NY, attracted Malaysia's superstar Lee Chong Wei as well as 9 others in the top 30 MS competitors. In 2016, the tournament was hosted in El Monte, California. In 2017, the tournament was hosted in Anaheim, California. In 2018, the tournament will be held at California State University, Fullerton.

The Norwegian International in badminton is an international open held in Norway since 1954. In the first years only the pure man disciplines were played, but since 1959 women's singles, women's doubles and mixed doubles were also played. In 1957, 1962, 1966, 1974, 1979 and 1990 the championships were halted. It is currently one of the tournaments on the European Badminton Circuit.

The Austrian International or Austrian Open in badminton is an international open held in Austria since 1965. In the initial years they took place later annually every two years, but since 1973 it has been held annually.

The Italian International in badminton is an international open held in Italy since 1994. It was halted between 1996 and 1998, and in 2000. The tournament belongs to the EBU Circuit.

The Welsh International is an international badminton championship held in Wales since 1928 and is thereby one of the oldest badminton tournaments in the world. The tournament was halted during World War II and until 1956, between 1960 and 1966, and in 1971. It is organised by Welsh Badminton Cymru, the governing body for badminton in Wales.

The Portugal Open in badminton is an international open held annually in Portugal since 1965. It is currently a part of the European Badminton Circuit.

The Slovenian International in badminton is an international open held in Slovenia regularly since 1993.

The Estonian International in badminton is an international open held in Estonia since 2004 and is thereby one of the most recent international badminton tournaments in the world.

The Israel Open, formerly called Hatzor International, in badminton is an international open held in Israel since 1975. It was held annually from 1975 to 1982, but between 1983 and 2005 the competition was held only thrice. The competition was resumed in 2006 under a new name Hatzor International, after the club which host the event at Kibbutz Hatzor. Israeli National Badminton Championships started in 1977.

The Badminton Asia Junior Championships is a tournament organized by the Badminton Asia governing body to crown the best junior badminton players (under-19) in Asia.

The Canada Open in badminton is an international open held in Canada since 1957. The tournament is traditionally held every year in September.

The Vietnam Open is an international Badminton open held in Vietnam since 1996.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">BWF World Championships</span> Badminton tournament

The BWF World Championships, formerly known as IBF World Championships, and also known as the World Badminton Championships, is a badminton tournament sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). The tournament is one of the most prestigious in badminton, offering the most ranking points, together with the Summer Olympics badminton tournaments which was introduced in 1992. The winners of this tournament are also crowned as "World Champions" of the sport, and are awarded a gold medal.

The Brazil International is the most important international open badminton tournament of Brazil. It is held since the year 1984. Brazilian National Badminton Championships started in 1991. It is part of the BWF International Series.

The India International Challenge is an international badminton tournament, which is held annually in India. During its first two editions, it was a domestic tournament. Since 2010, it became an international tournament with the grading of International Challenge.

The Mexican Open or Mexican International is an international badminton competition held in Mexico.

The Giraldilla International is the name of an international badminton tournament, which is organized as an open championship of Cuba. The competition is held annually since 2000 and is now a young supraregional Badminton Championship. The organizer was the Cuban Badminton Association in cooperation with the Badminton Pan Am continental federation.
