2025 Indonesia Masters

The Indonesia Masters is an international badminton tournament in BWF World Tour Super 500. [1] Formerly known as the Indonesia Open Grand Prix Gold, it was first held in 2010 in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, and change its venue in different cities every year. It was categorized as BWF Grand Prix Gold event, and offered total prize money of US$120,000. [2] The title was changed to Indonesian Masters in 2014. [3] Since 2018 it is held at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno in Jakarta and offers a prize money of US$350,000. [4] In 2021, it went from being Super 500 to Super 750. [5]

Gelora Bung Karno Sports Palace, is an indoor arena located in Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex, Jakarta, Indonesia. The capacity of the arena after 2018 reopening is 7,166. This arena is usually used for badminton tournaments, especially the BWF tournaments Indonesia Open and Indonesia Masters, as well as the Indonesia men's national basketball team. The first event that held in this arena was the 1961 Thomas Cup.

The German Open is an annual badminton tournament held in Germany since 1955 and organized by German Badminton Association or Deutscher Badminton Verband (DBV). The tournaments were not held in the year 1970, 1979 and 1998.

The 2007 Indonesia Open Super Series was a badminton tournament which took place at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 7 to 13 May 2007 and had a total purse of $250,000.

The India Open is an annual badminton event which has been held in India since 2008 and is a BWF World Tour Super 750 international badminton tournament. Its first three editions were designated as Grand Prix Gold events. In 2011, it was upgraded to the BWF Superseries tournament. Since then until 2019, it was held annually at the Siri Fort Sports Complex, New Delhi. BWF categorised India Open as one of the seven BWF World Tour Super 500 events as per the event structure since 2018. The India Open has been upgraded to a BWF World Tour Super 750 event since 2023.

The Bung Karno Sports Complex, better known as Gelora Bung Karno and formerly named the Asian Games Complex (Indonesian: Kompleks Asian Games and the Senayan Sports Complex from 1969 to 2001, is a sports complex located in Gelora, Central Jakarta, bordering the Senayan, South Jakarta because of its large location. Originally built with substantial Soviet assistance, this sports complex was a brain child of Sukarno, the first President of Indonesia, in order to host the 1962 Asian Games. This sports complex consists of a main stadium, secondary stadium, the Sports Palace, football fields, aquatic stadium, tennis stadiums, hockey, baseball and archery fields, and several indoor gymnasiums. This complex was built in 1960 and underwent major renovation for the 2018 Asian Games and Asian Para Games.
