2024 Indonesia Masters

The Indonesia Masters is an international badminton tournament in BWF World Tour Super 500 (Super 750 in 2021). [1] Formerly known as the Indonesia Open Grand Prix Gold, it was first held in 2010 in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, and change its venue in different cities every year. The tournament categorized as BWF Grand Prix Gold event, and offered total prize money of US$120,000. [2] The tournament changed its title to Indonesian Masters in 2014. [3] Since 2018 it is held at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno in Jakarta and offers prize money of US$350,000. [4] In 2021, the tournament got upgraded from a Super 500 to a Super 750. [5]

The Indonesia Open is an annual badminton tournament organized by the Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI) since 1982. It became part of the BWF Super Series tournament in 2007 and got the Super Series Premier status in 2011. Following the restructurisation to BWF World Tour, since 2018 it became one of only three tournaments to be granted Super 1000 level.

The 2001 Liga Indonesia Premier Division was the seventh season of the Liga Indonesia Premier Division, the top Indonesian professional league for association football clubs, since its formation in 1994. It began on 14 January and ended on 7 October. It was contested by 28 teams. Persija won the title after beating defending champions, PSM 3–2 in the final. RCTI provided broadcast coverage for the season.

Bung Karno Sports Arena, formerly named Senayan Sports Arena from 1969 to 2001 and Asian Games Complex on its early days, is a sports complex located in Gelora, Central Jakarta, Indonesia. It is usually misperceived to be located at Senayan, South Jakarta, hence its former name. The sports complex hosts a main stadium, secondary stadium, the Sports Palace, football fields, aquatic stadium, tennis stadiums, hockey, baseball and archery fields, and several indoor gymnasiums. The complex was built in 1960 for the 1962 Asian Games and recently underwent a major reconstruction for the 2018 Asian Games and Asian Para Games.
