The Serbian National Badminton Championships is a tournament organized to crown the best badminton players in Serbia. They are held since 2007.
Jianzi, tī jianzi (踢毽子), tī jian (踢毽) or jianqiú (毽球), is a traditional Chinese sport in which players aim to keep a heavily weighted shuttlecock in the air using their bodies apart from the hands, unlike in similar games Peteca and Indiaca. Jianzi is played on a badminton court using inner or outer lines in different competition settings. It can also be played artistically, among a circle of players in a street or park, with the objective to keep the shuttle 'up' and show off skills. In Vietnam, it is known as đá cầu and is the national sport. In the Philippines, it is known as sipa and was also the national sport until it was replaced by arnis in December 2009.
Saina Nehwal is an Indian professional badminton player. A former world no. 1, she has won 24 international titles, which includes ten Superseries titles. Although she reached the world's 2nd in 2009, it was only in 2015 that she was able to attain the world no. 1 ranking, thereby becoming the only female player from India and thereafter the second Indian player – after Prakash Padukone – to achieve this feat. She has represented India three times in the Olympics, winning a bronze medal in her second appearance at London 2012.

The Serbian and Montenegrin National Badminton Championships was a national badminton tournament organized to crown the best badminton players in Serbia and Montenegro. It was conducted between 2003 and 2006; preceded by the Yugoslavian National Badminton Championships. This event eventually stopped after the separation of Serbia and Montenegro as separate nations.
Phillip Hung Chew is an American badminton player. He won two gold medals in men's and mixed doubles at the 2015 Pan American Games. Chew also participated in the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics. He won the 2021 Pan Am Badminton Championships doubles with his brother Ryan Chew. He trains at the Orange County Badminton Club, which is founded by his grandfather, Don Chew.
Jovica Rujević is a Serbian male badminton player, and a former South Africa national badminton team. In 1996, he was the semi-finalist at the South Africa International tournament in the men's doubles event with Dave Calvert. In 2013, he reach the final round at the Botswana International tournament in the men's doubles event partnered with Andries Malan. The duo became the runner-up after defeated by the Slovenian pair in the rubber game. At the Balkan Badminton Championships, he won the bronze medal in the mixed team event. He and Malan also the semi-finalist at the 2016 South Africa International tournament. He also play for the Novi Sad badminton club, and in 2013 he won the men's and mixed doubles title at the Vojvodina Championship, and also became the runner-up in the men's singles event.
Sandra Rujević is a Serbian badminton player. She was the women's doubles national championships from 2010-2013 and in the mixed doubles in 2010. In 2013, she won the international tournament in the women's doubles event partnered with Elme de Villiers of South Africa at the Botswana and South Africa. At the Balkan Championships, she won the bronze medal in the mixed team event.
Igor Bjelan is a Serbian male badminton player. In 2015, he competed at the European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan. He won the Serbian National Badminton Championships in the men's singles event in 2008, 2010–2011, 2014; men's doubles event in 2010–2011, 2013, 2015; and mixed doubles event in 2010. He also represented his country at the Balkan Championships, and won the bronze medal in the mixed team event.
Linda Mazri is an Algerian badminton player. She is the gold medalist in African Games and African Championships.
The 2020 European Junior Badminton Championships is being held at the Pajulahti Sports Institute in Lahti, Finland from 29 October to 7 November 2020 to crown the best U-19 badminton players across Europe.

It is controlled by the Badminton Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, also known as BSBIH. The Bosnian national team competes in the regional Balkan Badminton Championships.
The North Macedonia national badminton team represents North Macedonia in international badminton team competitions and is organized by the Badminton Federation of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The Macedonian team competes in the Balkan Badminton Championships. The Macedonian junior team first competed in the 2006 Balkan Junior Badminton Championships. The team then won bronze at the 2013 Balkan Junior Team Championships in Manisa, Turkey.
The Serbia and Montenegro national badminton team represented Serbia and Montenegro in international badminton competitions. The national team reached its highest ranking at 99 on 1 July 2011.
