Luxembourgish National Badminton Championships

The Luxembourgish National Badminton Championships is a tournament organized to crown the best badminton players in Luxembourg. They are held since 1984.

Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" and "doubles". He received the Arjuna Award in 1999, the Dronacharya Award in 2009 and the Padma Bhushan – India's third highest civilian award – in 2014.

Haryanto immigrated to the United States in 2004 to pursue a coaching career. He now resides in San Diego, California, Apex Badminton Academy head coach at SDBCC in San Diego and representing the United States as a badminton player of Team USA.

Rexy Ronald Mainaky is a former men's doubles badminton world champion from Indonesia who is often simply known as Rexy. He won the men's doubles Olympic gold medal in 1996 with Ricky Subagja. As of January 2017, he was selected as the new head coach of the Thailand national badminton team.

Liliyana Natsir is a Indonesian former badminton player who specialized in doubles. With one gold and silver from the Olympic Games, and four gold medals at the BWF World Championships, she is regarded as one of the greatest mixed doubles players of all-time. Natsir was the second Indonesian woman Olympic gold medalist, after Susi Susanti won gold in 1992. She gained huge success by partnering with two different players. Her last partner was Tontowi Ahmad after being separated from her previous partner, Nova Widianto. She also won three titles in a row from 2012–2014 at All England Badminton Championships, one of the most prestigious and oldest tournament in the sport. Her tactical awareness, game vision, and dominance at the front court are considered as one of the best in the tour. In 2016, she and Tontowi Ahmad became the first Indonesian mixed doubles pair to win gold medal at the Olympic Games after beating Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying of Malaysia. As of 2019, she holds the highest number of BWF World Championship titles for mixed doubles.

Han Aiping was a Chinese badminton player in the 1980s who ranks among the greats of the woman's game. Noted for her superb overhead strokes, she and her teammate, rival, and sometimes doubles partner Li Lingwei dominated international singles play for most of the decade, each winning the IBF World Championships twice, and led Chinese teams to victory in Uber Cup competitions.

Li Lingwei is a Chinese badminton player of the 1980s who ranks among the greatest in the history of the women's game. Elected as a member of the International Olympic Committee in 2012. In December 2016, she was elected Vice President of the Chinese Olympic Committee. Li is heavily involved in improving women’s participation and fair representation in sport.

Theratil Rajiv Ouseph is a former badminton player from England. A member of the Great Britain and England Badminton squads, he is the current England number one men's singles player. In 2017, Ouseph won the Men's singles title at the European Badminton Championships, becoming European champion.

He represented the United States in both mixed doubles and men's doubles events. He trains at the Orange County Badminton Club, which is founded by his grandfather, Don Chew.

Lauren Smith (badminton) Badminton player

Lauren Smith is an English badminton player. She competed for England in the women's doubles and mixed team events at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where she won a bronze and silver medal respectively. In 2016, she represented Great Britain at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Selena Piek Badminton player

Selena Piek is a Dutch badminton player who specializes in doubles. Her current partner is Cheryl Seinen for women's doubles and Robin Tabeling for mixed doubles. She won the 2014 and 2015 editions of Dutch National Badminton Championships with Eefje Muskens. She has also won the mixed doubles national championships title since 2012 with three different partners. Piek was the gold medalist at the 2019 European Games in the women's doubles event with Cheryl Seinen.

Marcus Ellis Badminton player

Marcus Ellis is a British badminton player. He was the men's doubles champion in the 2016 English National Badminton Championships. Ellis and Chris Langridge won a bronze medal in the men's doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, also gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. At the 2019 Minsk European Games, Ellis captured two gold medals; in the men's doubles with Langridge and in the mixed doubles event with Lauren Smith.

Li Junhui Badminton player

Li Junhui is a Chinese badminton player. He was the gold medalist at the 2018 World Championships in the men's doubles event partnered with Liu Yuchen, and two times won the gold medal at the Asian Championships in 2017 and 2018. Li was part of the national team member that won the 2018 Asian Games, 2018 Thomas Cup and 2019 Sudirman Cup.
