The Benin International is an international badminton tournament held in Benin. The event is part of the Badminton World Federation's Future Series [1] and part of the Badminton Confederation of Africa's Circuit.

Carsten Mogensen is a former badminton player from Denmark. Bhamidipati Sai Praneeth is an Indian badminton player. He became the first Indian male shuttler in 36 years to win a bronze medal in the BWF World Championships in 2019 after Prakash Padukone in 1983. Sai Praneeth was honoured with the Arjuna Award in 2019. His parents are Seshadri Deekshitulu and Madhavi Latha of Palakollu, West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. His maternal aunt was a national level badminton player.

Ong Yew Sin is a Malaysian badminton player. He won a silver medal with Teo Ee Yi at the 2023 Badminton Asia Championships and a bronze medal with Teo at the 2021 BWF World Championships.

He Jiting is a Chinese badminton player. As a junior player, his best achievements was winning the boys' doubles at the 2015 Asian and World Junior Championships, later won the mixed doubles at the 2016 Asian and World Junior Championships. He was part of the national team that lifted the Tong Yun Kai Cup at the 2019 and 2023 Asia Mixed Team Championships, and at the 2021 Sudirman Cup.

Nguyễn Thùy Linh is a Vietnamese badminton player. She started her career by leaving her hometown in Phú Thọ Province, train at the Hanoi badminton club, and later joined Da Nang club. She represented her country at the 2015 SEA Games when she was 18 years old.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Kunlavut Vitidsarn</span> Thai badminton player

Kunlavut Vitidsarn is a Thai badminton player. He is the current men's singles World Champion as he won the gold medal at the 2023 World Championships. He was also three-times World Junior champion, winning in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Vitidsarn became the first men's singles player to win three World Junior Championships titles, joining Ratchanok Intanon and Chen Qingchen as a three-time winner of the World Junior title in the same discipline. He claimed the gold medal at the Asian Junior Championships in 2019, where he previously won a silver in 2018 and bronze in 2017. Vitidsarn participated at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, and was part of the team Omega took the silver medal in the mixed team event. He was named the 2020/2021 Eddy Choong Most Promising Player. In the senior category, he won the silver medal at the 2022 World Championships and, in the following year, the gold medal at the 2023 World Championships. He became the first Thai player to win the World Championships title in the men's singles category.

Thet Htar Thuzar is a Burmese badminton player. She participated at the 2013 SEA Games in her home country Myanmar. She won her first International title at the Egypt International 2018. As of 2019 she had reached eight finals, most of them in the African Badminton Circuit, winning six events.

The Benin national badminton team represents Benin in international team competitions. The team is controlled by the Badminton Federation of Benin. The Beninese mixed team competed in the 2019 African Badminton Championships.

Abu Hubaida is an Indian professional para-badminton player. He made his international debut in 2016. He won his 1st international title for his country when he won a gold & a bronze medal in Uganda Para-Badminton International in 2017. He became national champion of men's singles in 2018 by beating former national champion Sanjeev Kumar.

Aidil Sholeh Ali Sadikin is a Malaysian badminton player. He was among the players that helped Malaysia win a silver in the 2017 BWF World Junior Championships mixed team.

Shia Chun Kang is a Malaysian badminton player. Together with his former partner, Tan Wee Gieen, he achieved a career-high ranking of 52 in the men's doubles category.

Jiang Zhenbang is a Chinese badminton player. He helped the national team win the 2023 Asia Mixed Team Championships. He won his first World Tour title at the 2023 Swiss Open with Wei Yaxin.
