The Belgian National Badminton Championships is a tournament organized by the Belgian Badminton Federation to crown the best badminton players in Belgium. They are held since the season 1948/1949. In the initial years all five disciplines were not always played.
There is an international tournament in Belgium, the Belgian International, held since the season 1958/1959.

Lee Hyun-il is a former badminton player from South Korea. He is a former World and Asian Championships bronze medalist, and was part of South Korean team that won the 2003 Sudirman Cup as well the gold medals at the 2002 and 2014 Asian Games.
Zhou Mi is a Chinese badminton player. During much of her career she represented the People's Republic of China, but since 2007 she has represented Hong Kong which has a sports program and teams independent from those of the mainland. In 2010, she received a 2-year ban, for failing a drugs test.

The Belgian International is an international badminton open tournament, held since 1958 but in irregular periods.
The Hellas International or Greece International in badminton is an international open held in Athens, Greece since 2000 and are thereby one of the most recent international championships in Europe. In 2005, the tournament then upgraded to two star badminton event, the World Grand Prix with the total prize money $50,000. The tournament was held in Thessaloniki, and draws more than 120 players from 22 countries. In 2006, the tournament was known as Hellas International, and in season 2007/2008 it was introduced again in the European circuit as an BWF International Series with the total pursue $5,000.

Lee Kyung-won is a badminton player from South Korea. Lee was the women's doubles gold medallist at the 2002 Asian Games. She competed at the Olympic Games in 2000, 2004, and 2008, winning women's doubles bronze in 2004, and silver in 2008. She captured the women's doubles gold at the Asian Championships in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Lee educated at the Sungji Girls' Middle School, Sungji Girls' High School, and graduated from the Yong In University.
Carsten Mogensen is a former badminton player from Denmark. He was the gold medalist at the 2015 European Games, two time European champions winning in 2012 and 2017, and the silver medalist at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Mogensen was a former world number 1 in the BWF World ranking together with Mathias Boe.

The Royal Belgian Badminton Federation (RBBF) is the governing body for Badminton in Belgium. The administrative seat is located in Sprimont. The federation was one of the eleven founding members of Badminton Europe in 1967. It oversees both regional organizations in the country: the Badminton Vlaanderen and Ligue Francophone Belge de Badminton.
Porntip Buranaprasertsuk is a Thai badminton player. Buranaprasertsuk won her first Superseries title in 2011 India Open on 1 May 2011, becoming the first Thai to win a women's singles title in the Superseries tournament. She competed at the 2010, 2014 Asian Games, also in four consecutive SEA Games, and was part of the team that won the women's team gold medals in 2011 and 2015 SEA Games.

His best achievement is to win the 2014 Thomas Cup.
Misaki Matsutomo is a Japanese badminton player who is a doubles specialist. She won the gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympic women's doubles alongside Ayaka Takahashi. Despite playing doubles, she was also a finalist in girls' singles at the 2010 BWF World Junior Championships in Mexico.

Jacco Arends is a Dutch retired badminton player who specializes in doubles. Arends began playing badminton at his hometown club BC Duinwijck, and in 2009, he won European Junior Championships in mixed doubles with Selena Piek. He was the bronze medalist at the 2016 European Championships, and at the same year, he competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Mathias Christiansen is a Danish badminton player who joined the national team in July 2013. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
