Auckland International

The Auckland International is a badminton open international championships held in Auckland, New Zealand. The tournament was classified as "International Series" by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and provided an opportunity for players to compete for BWF points. [1] The 2011 tournament held in Manukau, and classified as "Future Series". [2]

She was four times women's doubles Oceania champions from 2017 to 2020 with her partner Gronya Somerville, also two times champion in the mixed doubles event in 2017 and 2018 alongside Sawan Serasinghe.

The Giraldilla International is the name of an international badminton tournament, which is organized as an open championship of Cuba. Ruud Bosch is a former Dutch male badminton player. He was a doubles specialist. He became a member of the Netherlands national badminton team in 2004, then in 2006, he won a silver medal at the European Badminton Mixed Team Championships. After quitting the Men's Doubles combination with Dutch partner Koen Ridder after eight years in August 2014, Bosch moved to Taiwan to form a new combination with Tien Tzu-Chieh in Men's Doubles and Shuai Pei-ling in Mixed Doubles. After two years in Taiwan, he returned to Europe to play again in the German Bundesliga for his German club Union Lüdinghausen. He won the Dutch National Badminton Championships seven times, four times in Men's Doubles and three times in Mixed Doubles. In December 2018, Bosch was appointed as head coach of the Netherlands.

Donna Haliday is a New Zealand badminton player. In 2008, she won the mixed doubles title at the Oceania Championships in New Caledonia with Henry Tam. She also completed her success by winning the women's and mixed team gold, and making the women's team competed at the 2008 Uber Cup finals in Jakarta. In 2010, she competed at the Delhi Commonwealth Games.

The Waikato International is an open international badminton tournament in New Zealand. This tournament is held in Waikato. This tournament is classified as BWF International Series tournament since Badminton World Federation (BWF) introduced in 1998, but it was downgraded to Future Series in 2015. Then, the event was promoted to a higher level of BWF International Series since 2017. Another tournament with higher level and prize money named New Zealand Open.

Darren Isaac Devadass is a Malaysian badminton player. He won his first international title at the 2012 Smiling Fish International in the men's doubles event partnered with Tai An Khang. Devadass competed at the 2012 World and Asian Junior Championships, helped the team reaching the semi-finals, and settle for the bronze medal in Asia. In 2014, he and Tai finished as the runner-up at the Bangladesh International Challenge. Teamed-up with Vountus Indra Mawan, they clinched the men's doubles titles at the 2015 Auckland and Maribyrnong International tournament.
