The Bangladesh International is an international badminton tournament held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and organized by the Bangladesh Badminton Federation. The tournament was established in June 2002 and was part of the Asian Satellite. [1] In 2011, the tournament was graded as the BWF International Series with the total prize money equaling US$5,000, and later in 2013, it was upgraded to the International Challenge, providing a total prize money of US$15,000. [2] In 2019, the tournament will be dedicated to Bangladesh's "Father of the Nation," Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. [3]

The Hong Kong Open is an annual badminton tournament held in Hong Kong since 1982, but it did not take place annually. It is organized by Hong Kong Badminton Association and it became one of the Super Series tournament in 2007. In 2008, Wang Chen became the first home player to win the Hong Kong Open title.
The U.S. Open Badminton Championships is an annual badminton tournament first held in 1954 when the American Badminton Association opened the U.S. National Badminton Championships to foreign competition. During the 1950s and 1960s it often attracted the world's top players. The 2015 Yonex Suffolk County Community College US Open Championships, held in Brentwood, NY, attracted Malaysia's superstar Lee Chong Wei as well as 9 others in the top 30 MS competitors. In 2016, the tournament was hosted in El Monte, California. In 2017, the tournament was hosted in Anaheim, California. In 2018, the tournament will be held at California State University, Fullerton.
Hans-Kristian Solberg Vittinghus is a Danish badminton player. He was a member of the winning Denmark team at the 2016 Thomas Cup in Kunshan, China.
Jan Østergaard Jørgensen is a Danish retired badminton player who played for SIF (Skovshoved) in the national league. He won the men's singles title at the 2014 European Championships, and was the bronze medalist at the 2015 World Championships. He joined the Denmark winning team at the 2016 Thomas Cup in Kunshan, China.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest female athletes in women's singles badminton, she holds the distinction of having won a medal in almost every BWF tournament, along with the consecutive golds at the World Championships, and the European Championships.

Jayaram is a champion of the Czech International and Dutch Open tournament. Ajay Jayaram did his schooling from Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School. He retired from the international badminton on 26 March 2022 to pursue MBA from ISB, Hyderabad. Ajay Jayaram married Soumya Ravi on April 6, 2022.
Chou Tien-chen is a Taiwanese professional badminton player He became the first local shuttler in 17 years to win the men's singles title of the Chinese Taipei Open in 2016 since Indonesian-born Fung Permadi won it in 1999. He won his first BWF Super Series title at the 2014 French Open, beating Wang Zhengming of China 10–21, 25–23, 21–19 in the finals. He is the record holder of three consecutive Bitburger Open Grand Prix Gold titles from 2012 till 2014.
