The Guatemala International is an open badminton tournament held in Guatemala. The tournament has been an International Series level in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2003, 2012, 2013, 2016, then in 2009 categorized as Future Series level, and in 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015 categorized as International Challenge by the Badminton World Federation. The tournament is sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation, so the players can improved their point in world ranking. [1]
In 2013, the tournament was an International Series level, with the official participation of athletes from 8 countries. [2] In 2014, the Huawei sponsored tournament gathered 120 athletes from 15 countries. [3] In 2015 and 2016, the tournament was held at the Olympic City Sports Coliseum, and sponsored by Herbalife. [1] [4] The 2015 season was a part of the 2016 Rio Olympics qualification, and have a total pursue $15,000, which attracted 97 players from 33 countries, and for the 2016, 63 players from 12 countries competes. [1] [5] In 2017, the national federation host two level 4 badminton tournament, the Future and International Series. [6]

The Irish International or Irish Open in badminton is an international open held in Ireland since 1902 and is thereby one of the oldest badminton tournaments in the world. It was however interrupted by the two World Wars. This tournament is currently a part of the European Badminton Circuit and takes place at the end of November every year as part of the home nations loop of international tournaments that include the Scottish Open and the Welsh Open in consecutive weeks. The tournament for most part and in recent years has been an International Challenge rated event. The recent exception was in 2012, 2017 & 2018 when the tournament was downgraded to International Series due to funding. Recent editions have been held in the Baldoyle Badminton Centre except for 2007 and 2011 tournaments which were held in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
Beatriz Corrales Ocaña is a Spanish badminton player. She was the women's singles bronze medalist at the 2015 European Games, and the silver medalist at the 2018 Mediterranean Games.
The Mexican Open or Mexican International is an international badminton competition held in Mexico. The Mexican Open has been held together with the Mexican National Championship of Badminton which main difference is that foreign players can participate in the former competition, while the latter is just reserved for Mexican badminton players. The original intention was that both tournaments would be held annually; however, due to different circumstances it has not always been this the case.

The tournament has been an International Series level since 1995, then in 2009–2013 categorized as International Challenge, and in 2014 back to International Series level from Badminton World Federation.
The Argentina International is an open badminton tournament held in Argentina. The tournament has been a Pan American Badminton Circuit Future level event from 1997 till 2000. In 2012–2013, this tournament has been a BWF Future Series level by the Badminton World Federation, and since 2014, upgraded to BWF International Series with the total prize money $5,000. Badminton in Argentina began to be played in private residences, clubs and schools of foreign origin, and in 1982, the national federation, Federación de Bádminton de la República Argentina (FEBARA) is founded. In 1993, the FEBARA join the International Badminton Federation, Argentine Olympic Committee (COA), and Confederación Argentina de Deportes (CAD), and at that year, the federation started to host the national tournament which was held at CeNARD, with more than 100 players from all over the country compete. In 1997, FEBARA organized the first international tournament with the sanctioned from the Badminton Pan Am.
Bahrain International Series is an open international badminton tournament in Bahrain presented by the Bahrain Badminton and Squash Federation, and sanctioned by Badminton World Federation and Badminton Asia. This tournament has been a BWF International Series level, and a part of Bahrain International Badminton Festival. Another tournament for higher tournament level on Bahrain Festival is Bahrain International Challenge.
The South Africa International is an international badminton tournament held in South Africa organised by Badminton South Africa, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF) and Badminton Confederation of Africa (BCA). Since 2018, this tournament has been a BWF Future Series.

Job Castillo Galindo is a Mexican badminton player. He won the men's doubles title at the 2022 Pan Am Championships partnering Luis Montoya. He also claimed two bronze medals at the Pan American Games, in 2015 with Lino Muñoz, and in 2023 with Montoya.
Rubén Alonso Castellanos España is a Guatemalan badminton player. He won the men's doubles bronze medals at the 2017 and 2021 Pan Am Championships. He also part of the national team that won the bronze medal at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia.
Maldonado Rodolfo José Ramírez García is a Guatemalan badminton player and coach. Rodolfo Ramirez won the Men's Doubles event at the Pan American Badminton Championships in 2009 with partner Kevin Cordón. They together also won a gold medal at the 2010 CACSO Games. From 19-21 April 2022 Rodolfo Ramirez was appointed headcoach at the Caribbean Easter badminton camp 2022 in Paramaribo, Suriname.
Nikté Alejandra Sotomayor Ovando is a Guatemalan badminton player. She won the bronze medals at the 2019 Pan American Games in the women's singles, and at the 2021 Pan Am Championships in the women's doubles. Sotomayor will representing her country to compete at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, as the first ever Guatemalan female badminton player to compete at the Olympic Games.
Luis Armando Montoya Navarro is a Mexican badminton player. Partnering Job Castillo, he won the gold medal at the 2022 Pan Am Championships, and the bronze medal at the 2023 Pan American Games. He was part of the Mexican team that won the gold medals at the 2018 and 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games.
Luís Enrique Peñalver Pereira is a Spanish badminton player. The Toledo-born, represented Spain competed at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China. He was a part of the Spanish national junior team that won the gold medal at the 2015 European Junior Championships in the mixed team event. In 2017, he won his first senior title at the Romanian International tournament in the men's singles event.
The Lagos International also known as Lagos International Badminton Classics is an annual open international badminton tournament held in Lagos, Nigeria. This tournament established since 2014, organized by the Lagos State Badminton Association (LSBA) and Badminton Federation of Nigeria. The tournament sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and Badminton Confederation of Africa (BCA), and has grade as BWF International Challenge level with the total prize money $15,000. The classics is expected to help Nigerian players to improve their world ranking as well as play against some of the top rated players in the world, and it is also an opportunity to showcase the positive side of Lagos and Nigeria. It is also an intervention programme of the Lagos State Government, it is a series of international open sporting events geared towards attracting the best continental and global sports talents to the shores of the region. The Lagos State Government believes that the tournament is part of series of international sports events that will bring world stars to the state.
The Egypt International is an international badminton tournament held in Cairo, Egypt. The event is part of the Badminton World Federation's Future Series and part of the Badminton Confederation of Africa's Circuit.
Jennie Gai is an American badminton player who competes in international level events. She was a gold medalist at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, and silver medalists in the 2023 Pan American Games.
