Phillip Hung Chew (born May 16, 1994) is an American badminton player. He won two gold medals in men's and mixed doubles at the 2015 Pan American Games. [1] [2] Chew also participated in the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics. [3] He won the 2021 Pan Am Badminton Championships doubles with his brother Ryan Chew. [4] He trains at the Orange County Badminton Club, which is founded by his grandfather, Don Chew. [5]
In 2016, Chew represented the United States in both mixed and men's doubles events at the 2016 Summer Olympics. [3]
Chew made his second appearance at the Olympic Games in 2020 Tokyo. He competing in the men's doubles event partnered with Ryan Chew, but he was eliminated in the group stage. [6]

Virgil Soeroredjo is a former Surinamese badminton player and now coach. He competed for Suriname at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He also competed for Suriname at 3 Pan Am Games: the 2003 Pan American Games, the 2007 Pan American Games & the 2011 Pan American Games. As a young badminton player of the club SCVU in Suriname Virgil Soeroredjo won numerous juniors titles and was soon selected to represent his country abroad winning several juniors medals at Caribbean, Central American and South American events. Much of his success was with his doubles partner Mitchel Wongsodikromo.
Sattawat Pongnairat is an American badminton player who competed at 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He trained at the Orange County Badminton club, and in 2015, he won a gold medal in men's doubles with teammate Phillip Chew at the Pan American Games.
Mitchel Arthur Wongsodikromo is a Surinamese badminton player and coach. He competed for Suriname at three Pan Am Games: 2003 Pan American Games, 2007 Pan American Games & the 2011 Pan American Games. As a very young badminton player of the club T.N.F. in Suriname Mitchel Wongsodikromo was an exceptional talent and won numerous juniors titles and was soon selected to represent his country abroad winning several juniors medals at Caribbean, Central American and South American events. Much of his success was with his doubles partner Virgil Soeroredjo.
Rachel Honderich is a Canadian badminton player from Toronto, Ontario. She has been one of the top ranked women's individual and doubles player on the continent and a contender in major international competitions. She is a vice-national champion in women's singles and has won several international titles since 2010.
Osleni Guerrero Velazco is a Cuban badminton player. He is the first Cuban badminton player to win a medal in the Pan American Games. Guerrero also competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Kim Astrup Sørensen is a Danish badminton player. He was the men's doubles gold medalists at the 2018 European Championships and the 2023 European Games with his partner Anders Skaarup Rasmussen. He also won the bronze medal at the World Championships in 2021 and later a silver medal in 2023. Astrup joined the Denmark winning team at the 2016 Thomas Cup in Kunshan, China, where he and his teammates beating Indonesia 3–2 in the final. Together with Rasmussen, he reached a career high of World number 5 in September 2018.
Ygor Coelho de Oliveira is a Brazilian badminton player. He won the Pan Am Junior Badminton Championships six times in the boys' singles and four times in the mixed doubles event with Lohaynny Vicente. Oliveira placed 27th in the world junior ranking and went on to compete at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China. He won his first senior international title at the 2014 Puerto Rico International in the men's singles event. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and became the first Brazil's male Olympic badminton player. He clinched three gold medals at the 2018 South American Games in the men's singles, doubles, and team event. Coelho won a gold medal in the men's singles at the 2019 Lima Pan American Games.
Sören Hans Brad Opti is a badminton player from Suriname. He is an Olympian, respresenting Suriname at the 2016 Rio Olympics. He was also selected to represent his country at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, but due to a positive Covid-test had to stay home. In the 2016 Olympics Opti was the flagbearer for Suriname during the opening ceremony. Opti participated at the 2014 and 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games.
Alida Chen is a Dutch badminton player. She won the 2009 Netherlands national championships U13 in girls' singles, doubles and mixed doubles, 2011 U15 in girls' singles, doubles and mixed doubles, 2012 U17 in girls' singles, doubles and mixed doubles, and 2013 U17 in mixed doubles. She became a quarter finalist at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in mixed doubles event.

Known for his quick and explosive movements with signature drop shots on court, Watanabe has won the mixed doubles bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics, as well as being four-time BWF World Championships medalists.

Leefmans was also the champion at the Suriname International tournament in 2012 and 2013. Kristen Tsai is a Taiwanese born Canadian badminton player. She is the women's doubles champion at the 2019 Pan American Games, fifth time Pan Am Champion winning the women's singles title in 2012, and then the women's doubles title in 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022.

He reached a career high as boys' singles World Junior number 1 in January 2020. He then clinched the boys' singles title at the 2020 European Junior Championships.
Jennie Gai is an American badminton player who competes in international level events. She was a gold medalist at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics and won six titles in the Pan Am Junior Badminton Championships. She represented her country at the 2016 BWF World Junior Championships.
Vinson Chiu is an American badminton player. He won a silver medal with his partner Joshua Yuan in the men's doubles at the 2022 Pan Am Championships. Chiu also won a silver and a bronze at the 2016 Pan Am Junior Championships in the boys' doubles and mixed doubles. Chiu currently plays mixed doubles with Jennie Gai. They won their first title together at the Mexican International Challenge in 2021. The duo won the silver medal in the mixed doubles at the 2023 Pan American Games.
