Mercosul International

The Mercosur International or Mercosur Internacional is an open international badminton tournament in Brazil. The tournament established since June, 2013. The tournament has been an International Series level since 2013, then in 2015 categorized as International Challenge by the Badminton World Federation.

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is the international governing body for the sport of badminton recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). It was founded in 1934 as the International Badminton Federation (IBF) with nine member nations. Guo Zhendong is a badminton player from China. As of July 2010, he was ranked within the top 10 male badminton doubles teams in the world. He competed at the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games.

Noriyasu Hirata is a Japanese badminton player from Tonami Transportation badminton team. In 2013, he and his men's doubles partner Hirokatsu Hashimoto, received the Badminton Nippon League's Valuable Player Award. He competed at the 2010 and 2014 Asian Games.

Ajay Jayaram is an Indian retired badminton player from Chennai. He plays for the Mumbai Rockets in the Premier Badminton League. Jayaram is a champion of the Czech International and Dutch Open tournament. Ajay Jayaram did his schooling from Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School. He retired from the international badminton on 26 March 2022 to pursue MBA from ISB, Hyderabad. Ajay Jayaram married Soumya Ravi on April 6, 2022.

Hu Yun is a retired badminton player representing Hong Kong since 2006. He competed at the 2010 and 2014 Asian Games, and also 2016 Rio Olympics. Born in Wuhan, Hubei, China, Hu started playing badminton in 1988, and participated in local province badminton teams at an early age. In 2006, he started to represent Hong Kong at international tournaments. He won the Hong Kong National Badminton Championships four times, in 2007, 2009, 2010, and 2012.

In 2008, he won the Portugal International, Hungarian International and the Austrian International. He has also won the Scottish Open in 2010 and 2012 as well as the French International in 2012. Hirokatsu Hashimoto is a Japanese badminton player from Tonami Transportation badminton team. In 2013, he and his men's doubles partner Noriyasu Hirata, received the Badminton Nippon League's Valuable Player Award. He competed at the 2010 and 2014 Asian Games. His best achievement is to win the 2014 Thomas Cup.

Andrew Ellis is an English badminton player who specializes in doubles. He won the European individual bronze medals with Chris Adcock in 2012 and 2014. Ellis reached top 10 BWF ranking in the men's doubles event with Adcock in November 2013. He competed for England in the men's doubles and mixed team events at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where he won a silver medal in the team event.

Arun Vishnu is a former Indian badminton player, from Calicut, Kerala, who represented India in several international tournaments. He is partnered with Aparna Balan and Alwin Francis in mixed doubles category and men's doubles category respectively. His career best world ranking is 37 and 41 in men's doubles and mixed doubles category respectively. Since 2016 he is coach of Indian National Badminton Team.

Jeon Hyeok-jin is a Korean badminton player. Specializing in singles, he was runner-up at the 2013 Asian Junior Badminton Championships. He was part of the Korean team that won men's team gold at the 2014 Asian Games and the following year, he beat both Chou Tien-chen and compatriot Son Wan-ho to win gold at the 2015 Summer Universiade. In 2017, he helped the Korean national team to win the world team championships at the Sudirman Cup.

The Botswana International is an open badminton tournament held in Gaborone, Botswana. The tournament has been an International Series level, except in 2012 and since 2018 categorized as Future Series level from Badminton World Federation.

The Santo Domingo Open or Santo Domingo International is an open badminton tournament held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The tournament has been an International Series level since 2003, but in 2013 categorized as a Future Series level from Badminton World Federation. Another tournament, Dominican Open is a Future Series level since 2018.

The Guatemala International is an open badminton tournament held in Guatemala. The tournament has been an International Series level in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2003, 2012, 2013, 2016, then in 2009 categorized as Future Series level, and in 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015 categorized as International Challenge by the Badminton World Federation. The tournament is sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation, so the players can improved their point in world ranking.

The Vietnam International, formerly Vietnam Satellite and Hanoi International, is an international badminton tournament held in Vietnam. This tournament has been an International Challenge level since 2008. Another tournament named Vietnam International Series established in 2014, and Vietnam Open established in 1996.

The Latvia International is an international badminton tournament that has been held in Latvia since 2005.

Takuro Hoki is a Japanese badminton player affiliated with Tonami team. He was the men's doubles silver medalist at the 2019 World Championships and the men's doubles gold medalist at the 2021 World Championships, being first ever Japanese men's doubles to become world champions.

James Gan Teik Chai (颜德财) was a Malaysian badminton player. He won the men's doubles title at the 2004 French International tournament partnered with Koo Kien Keat. He also won the 2009 Australian Open Grand Prix tournament with Tan Bin Shen. Teamed-up with Ong Soon Hock, he won the 2012 BWF International tournament in Mauritius, Argentina, and Brazil.

Kim Hye-rin is a South Korean badminton player. In 2013, she won the mixed doubles title at the Romanian International tournament partnered with Choi Sol-gyu. In 2017, she won the silver medal at the Asia Championships in the women's doubles event.
