Joshua Hurlburt-Yu (born 28 December 1994) is a Canadian badminton player. [2] Joshua was a gold medalist in the mixed doubles event at the 2019 Lima Pan American Games, [3] and also at the 2019 and 2021 Pan Am Championships. [4]

In June 2021, Hurlburt-Yu was named to Canada's Olympic team, [5] competing in the mixed doubles badminton event. [6]

Michelle Li is a Canadian badminton player from Markham, Ontario. Li is the 2014 Commonwealth Games champion and the first Canadian to win an individual gold medal in women's singles badminton at the Commonwealth Games. She has won gold in both singles and doubles at the Pan American Games and won the singles and team event titles from the Pan American Badminton Championships. At the 2019 Minsk European Games, Ellis captured two gold medals; in the men's doubles with Langridge and in the mixed doubles event with Lauren Smith.

Ygor Coelho de Oliveira is a Brazilian badminton player. He won the Pan Am Junior Badminton Championships six times in the boys' singles and four times in the mixed doubles event with Lohaynny Vicente. Oliveira placed 27th in the world junior ranking and went on to compete at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China. He won his first senior international title at the 2014 Puerto Rico International in the men's singles event. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and became the first Brazil's male Olympic badminton player. He clinched three gold medals at the 2018 South American Games in the men's singles, doubles, and team event. Coelho won a gold medal in the men's singles at the 2019 Lima Pan American Games.

Robin Tabeling is a Dutch badminton player, specializing in doubles play. He started playing badminton in Amstelveen at a club called BV van Zijderveld. Partnered with Jelle Maas, he won bronze medals at the 2018 European Championships and 2019 European Games. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Badminton competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru were held between July 29 and August 2, 2019 at the Polideportivo 3, which also hosted the roller sports (artistic) and table tennis competitions.

The XXIII 2019 Pan Am Badminton Championships was a continental championships tournament of badminton in Pan America. This tournament was held as two events in different countries. From 14 to 17 February, the team event was held in Lima, Peru. From 25 to 28 April, the individual event was held in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

Anuoluwapo Juwon Opeyori is a Nigerian badminton player. He started playing badminton together with his brother in 2005, and later he was selected to join Nigeria senior national team in 2017. Opeyori won the African Championships and African Games in the singles event in 2019. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

The 2021 Pan Am Badminton Championships are the 24th tournament of the Pan American Badminton Championships held in Guatemala City, Guatemala, from April 28 to May 2, 2021.

Timothy Lam is an American badminton player and coach. He competed at the 2019 Pan American Games finished in the quarter-finals stage. In 2021, Lam was confirmed as qualifying to compete for the US at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
