Peru Challenge

The Peru International or Peru Challenge is an open international badminton tournament in Peru. It was the highest international championships in Peru. The tournament has been an International Challenge level since 2009. Another tournament named Peru International Series for the second grade tournament in Peru which was established in 2015.

The Austrian International or Austrian Open in badminton is an international open held in Austria since 1965. In the initial years they took place later annually every two years, but since 1973 it has been held annually.

The Czech Open in badminton is an international open held in the Czech Republic since 1993. The Irish International or Irish Open in badminton is an international open held in Ireland since 1902 and is thereby one of the oldest badminton tournaments in the world. It was however interrupted by the two World Wars. This tournament is currently a part of the European Badminton Circuit and takes place at the end of November every year as part of the home nations loop of international tournaments that include the Scottish Open and the Welsh Open in consecutive weeks. The tournament for most part and in recent years has been an International Challenge rated event. The recent exception was in 2012, 2017 & 2018 when the tournament was downgraded to International Series due to funding. Recent editions have been held in the Baldoyle Badminton Centre except for 2007 and 2011 tournaments which were held in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.

The Canadian International in badminton is an international open held in Canada.

The Indonesia International is an international badminton tournament, which is held annually in Indonesia since 1997. It is organized by the Badminton Association of Indonesia. Since 2007, it is graded as the International Challenge, which are level 4 badminton tournaments. Since 2014, there are two different level 4 tournament: International Challenge and International Series which held in two different cities.

The Mexican Open or Mexican International is an international badminton competition held in Mexico.

Sören Hans Brad Opti is a badminton player from Suriname. He is an Olympian, respresenting Suriname at the 2016 Rio Olympics. He was also selected to represent his country at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, but due to a positive Covid-test had to stay home. In the 2016 Olympics Opti was the flagbearer for Suriname during the opening ceremony. Opti participated at the 2014 and 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games.

The Guatemala International is an open badminton tournament held in Guatemala. The tournament has been an International Series level in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2003, 2012, 2013, 2016, then in 2009 categorized as Future Series level, and in 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015 categorized as International Challenge by the Badminton World Federation. The tournament is sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation, so the players can improved their point in world ranking.

The Vietnam International, formerly Vietnam Satellite and Hanoi International, is an international badminton tournament held in Vietnam. This tournament has been an International Challenge level since 2008. Another tournament named Vietnam International Series established in 2014, and Vietnam Open established in 1996.

The Dutch International is an open international badminton tournament held in the Netherlands. The tournament annually held in Wateringen and organized by the VELO badminton since 2000. The Dutch International is a part of the European Badminton Circuit and graded as BWF International Series level. This tournament is the second largest badminton event in the Netherlands with a total price money of $10.000.

The Osaka International, formerly Osaka Satellite, is an international badminton tournament held in Osaka, Japan, established in 2007, and has been an International Challenge level tournament.

The Peru International Series or Perú Future Series is an international open badminton tournament in Peru, established since 2015, organized by the Federación Deportiva Peruana de Bádminton, sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation and Badminton Pan Am. This tournament was held for the first time from 19 to 22 February 2015 at the Polideportivo 2, Centro de Alto Rendimiento, Villa Deportiva Nacional, in Lima. The tournament is the second grade of the international tournament in Peru after the Peru International, and in 2018 the tournament downgraded to BWF Future Series event. In 2022, it was upgraded to BWF International Series event and in 2023 it was scheduled to host 2 grade event.

The Maldives International is an open international badminton tournament in Maldives organized by the Badminton Association of Maldives and sanctioned by the Badminton Asia Confederation and Badminton World Federation. This tournament has been an International Challenge level before it went into hiatus in 2014. This tournament held at the Malé sports complex, and offered world ranking points with total prize money US$15,000.

Bahrain International Series is an open international badminton tournament in Bahrain presented by the Bahrain Badminton and Squash Federation, and sanctioned by Badminton World Federation and Badminton Asia. This tournament has been a BWF International Series level, and a part of Bahrain International Badminton Festival. Another tournament for higher tournament level on Bahrain Festival is Bahrain International Challenge.

The Malaysia International is an open international badminton tournament in Malaysia established since 1997. This tournament also known as Malaysia Satellite, Malaysia Asian Satellite, and Malaysia International Challenge. This tournament has classified as BWF International Challenge tournament since Badminton World Federation (BWF) introduced in 2007. Other tournaments held in Malaysia with higher level and prize money are named Malaysia Masters and Malaysia Open.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Kunlavut Vitidsarn</span> Thai badminton player

Kunlavut Vitidsarn is a Thai badminton player. He is the current men's singles World Champion as he won the gold medal at the 2023 World Championships. He was also three-times World Junior champion, winning in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Vitidsarn became the first men's singles player to win three World Junior Championships titles, joining Ratchanok Intanon and Chen Qingchen as a three-time winner of the World Junior title in the same discipline. He claimed the gold medal at the Asian Junior Championships in 2019, where he previously won a silver in 2018 and bronze in 2017. Vitidsarn participated at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, and was part of the team Omega took the silver medal in the mixed team event. He was named the 2020/2021 Eddy Choong Most Promising Player. In the senior category, he won the silver medal at the 2022 World Championships and, in the following year, the gold medal at the 2023 World Championships. He became the first Thai player to win the World Championships title in the men's singles category.
