The Future Series Costa Rica International is an international badminton tournament to be held for the first time in Cartago, Costa Rica. The event is part of the Badminton World Federation's Future Series [1] and part of the Badminton Pan America's Circuit.

In the individual event, Lohau also won the bronze medals at the 2010 World Junior Championships in the mixed doubles, 2011 European Junior Championships in the mixed and girls' doubles, and at the 2018 and 2021 European Championships in the mixed doubles. She represented her country competing at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Yvonne Li is a German badminton player. She won bronze medals at the 2015 and 2017 European Junior Championships in the girls' doubles and singles respectively. Li who affiliate with SC Union 08 Lüdinghausen was the three-time National Champion in the women's singles winning from 2019 to 2021, and she also won the women's doubles in 2020.

Alexandra Bøje is a Danish badminton player. She won her first senior international title at the 2016 Czech International in the mixed doubles event partnered with Mathias Bay-Smidt after fight through the qualification round, with the eight matches played. She was part of the national team that clinched the gold medals at the 2019 European Mixed Team and 2020 Women's Team Championships. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Arjun Madathil Ramachandran is an Indian badminton player. He alongside India men's team won the 2022 Thomas Cup, and also bronze medal at the 2020 Asia Team Championships.

Line Drost Christophersen is a Danish badminton player. She once trained at the Skælskør club, and now belongs to Gentofte. Christophersen won the girls' singles title at the 2018 European Junior Championships, and the silver medal at the World Junior Championships, and then won a silver medal at the 2021 European Championships in the women's singles event. She was part of the team from Denmark that won the 2020 European Women's Team Championships, and at the 2021 and 2023 European Mixed Team Championships.

She has won the Scottish National Championships four times in the women's doubles and two times in the mixed doubles. She also part of team Scotland that won the bronze medal at the 2020 European Women's Team Championships.
