The Pan American Para-Badminton Championships is a tournament organized by the Para Badminton World Federation (PBWF) which has now merged with the BWF. This tournament is hosted to crown the best para-badminton players in the Americas.
The inaugural edition of the tournament was hosted in Curitiba, Brazil in 2010.

The Pan American Badminton Championships is a tournament organized since 1977 by the Badminton Pan America (BPA) to crown the best badminton players in the Americas. The tournament was held every year from 1977 until 1980, then every two years from 1987 until 2007. It is now organized annually, except once every four years when the Pan American Games multi-sports event is held. Badminton is part of the Pan American Games since 1995. Since then, 2007 was the only year both events were held simultaneously in the same year. The Pan American Badminton Championships once had a Grand Prix status.
The Brazil national badminton team represents Brazil in international badminton team competitions. It is controlled by the Brazil Badminton Confederation. Brazil is one of South America's most active badminton nations, with its mixed team participating four times in the Sudirman Cup.
Osleni Guerrero Velazco is a Cuban badminton player. He is the first Cuban badminton player to win a medal in the Pan American Games. Guerrero also competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Iris Wang is an American badminton player who competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Ygor Coelho de Oliveira is a Brazilian badminton player. He won the Pan Am Junior Badminton Championships six times in the boys' singles and four times in the mixed doubles event with Lohaynny Vicente. Oliveira placed 27th in the world junior ranking and went on to compete at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China. He won his first senior international title at the 2014 Puerto Rico International in the men's singles event. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and became the first Brazil's male Olympic badminton player. He clinched three gold medals at the 2018 South American Games in the men's singles, doubles, and team event. Coelho won a gold medal in the men's singles at the 2019 Lima Pan American Games.

Artur Silva de Pomoceno is a Brazilian badminton player.
Jaqueline Maria Lopes Lima is a Brazilian badminton player from Joca Claudino Esportes badminton club. She joined the Brazil national badminton team in 2016, and in 2017 she competed in the mixed team event at the 2017 Pan Am Badminton Championships where the team won silver medal. She won her first senior international title at the 2017 Brazil International Challenge tournament partnered with Sâmia Lima. Lima participated at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, and was part of the team Theta won the bronze medal in the mixed team event. At the 2019 Lima Pan American Games, she won two bronze medals in the women's and mixed doubles events.
The XXIII 2019 Pan Am Badminton Championships was a continental championships tournament of badminton in Pan America. This tournament was held as two events in different countries. From 14 to 17 February, the team event was held in Lima, Peru. From 25 to 28 April, the individual event was held in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
The XXIV 2020 Pan Am Badminton Championships is a continental championships tournament of badminton in Pan America. This tournament were held as two events in different countries. From 13 to 16 February, the team event was held in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. From 23 to 26 April, the individual event was planned to be held in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
The Peru national badminton team represents Peru in international badminton team competitions. It is controlled by the Peruvian Sports Federation of Badminton. The Peruvian mixed team were champions at the 1993 Pan Am Badminton Championships. This qualified them for the Sudirman Cup. The mixed team would continue to compete in the Sudirman Cup until 2011.
The Argentina national badminton team represents Argentina in international badminton team competitions and is administered by Argentine Badminton Federation. Argentina competed in the Sudirman Cup three times in 1995, 1997 and 1999.
The Trinidad and Tobago national badminton team represents Trinidad and Tobago in international badminton team competitions. It is managed by the Trinidad & Tobago Badminton Association. Trinidad and Tobago were hosts of the 2018 Pan Am Badminton Championships and were qualified into the tournament as host nation.
Annie Xu is an American badminton player who competes in international elite events. She is a double Pan Am Junior champion; Pan American Games silver medalist; and also Summer Universiade and Pan Am Championships bronze medalists alongside her twin sister Kerry Xu.
The 2021 Sudirman Cup was the 17th edition of the Sudirman Cup, the biennial international badminton championship contested by the mixed national teams of the member associations of Badminton World Federation (BWF), since its inception in 1989. The tournament was played in Vantaa, Finland, between 26 September and 3 October 2021. China were the defending champions. They successfully defended their title, lifting the trophy for a record-extending 12th time.
The Bolivia national badminton team represents Bolivia in international badminton team competitions. The Bolivian national team is controlled by Federación Boliviana de Bádminton, also known as the Bolivian Badminton Federation located in Sucre. The team competes under the Badminton Pan America confederation.
