Greenlandic National Badminton Championships

The Greenlandic National Badminton Championships is a tournament organized to crown the best badminton players in Greenland. They have been held since 1980.

Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" and "doubles". Saina Nehwal is an Indian professional badminton singles player. A former world no. 1, she has won over 24 international titles, which includes eleven Superseries titles. Although she reached the world's 2nd in the 2009, it was only in 2015 that she was able to attain the world no. 1 ranking, thereby becoming the only female player from India and overall the second Indian player – after Prakash Padukone – to achieve this feat. She has represented India three times in the Olympics, winning a bronze medal in her second appearance.

Haryanto immigrated to the United States in 2004 to pursue a coaching career. Badminton England is the national governing body for the sport of badminton in England. It aims to govern, encourage and develop the sport throughout England.

Rexy Ronald Mainaky is a former men's doubles badminton world champion from Indonesia who is often simply known as Rexy. He won the men's doubles Olympic gold medal in 1996 with Ricky Subagja. As of January 2017, he was selected as the new head coach of the Thailand national badminton team.

Lee Deuk-choon South Korean badminton player

Lee Deuk-choon is a retired male badminton player from South Korea. In 2013, he became head coach of the Korean National Badminton Team after nearly 20 years as the head coach of the Junior National Team. He replaced Kim Joong-soo, who was the acting head coach following the removal of Sung Han-kook. Lee was replaced as head coach on January 1, 2017 by Kang Kyung-jin.

Selena Piek is a Dutch badminton player who specializes in doubles. Her current partner is Cheryl Seinen for women's doubles and Robin Tabeling for mixed doubles. She won the 2014 and 2015 editions of Dutch National Badminton Championships with Eefje Muskens. She has also won the mixed doubles national championships title since 2012 with three different partners. Piek was the gold medalist at the 2019 European Games in the women's doubles event with Cheryl Seinen.
