The Latvia International (or the Latvia Riga International) is an international badminton tournament that has been held in Latvia since 2005. [1] [2]

Riga's territory covers 307.17 km2 (118.60 sq mi) and lies 1–10 m (3–33 ft) above sea level on a flat and sandy plain.

The Latvia national football team represents Latvia in men's international football, and is controlled by the Latvian Football Federation, the governing body for football in Latvia. They have never qualified for the FIFA World Cup, but did qualify for the European Championship in 2004 under head coach Aleksandrs Starkovs.

The league is competed by nine teams from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Previously it was also known as the Latvian Open Hockey Championships and the Samsung Premier League from 2006 to 2008. The league was established in 1931.

The Arctic Open, is an international open badminton tournament held in Finland since 1990. It was halted in 1994, 1995, and between 1997 and 2001. In 2013, it was held for the fourth time in the Energia Areena in Vantaa. In 2014, the second international tournament in Finland launched as Finnish International, then this tournament changed its title to Finnish Open. From 2023 onwards, this will be a BWF World Tour Super 500 tournament, titled Arctic Open.

The Slovak Open in badminton is an international open held in Slovakia since 1993. The tournament followed the Czechoslovakian Open, and it belongs to the European Badminton Circuit.

The Latvian Women's League is the top level women's football league of Latvia.

The Indonesia International is an international badminton tournament, which is held annually in Indonesia since 1997. It is organized by the Badminton Association of Indonesia. Since 2007, it is graded as the International Challenge, which are level 4 badminton tournaments. Since 2014, there are two different level 4 tournament: International Challenge and International Series which held in two different cities. Since 2022, there were two International Challenge tournament.

The Polish International in badminton is an international open held in Poland since 2012. The tournament belongs to the BE Circuit. Not to be confused with the Polish Open. The Polish International is an International Series rated tournament which is the second step on the senior ladder after Future Series. The Polish Open is one step higher at International Challenge and is played at the opposite end of the calendar year.

The Guatemala International is an open badminton tournament held in Guatemala. The tournament has been an International Series level in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2003, 2012, 2013, 2016, then in 2009 categorized as Future Series level, and in 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015 categorized as International Challenge by the Badminton World Federation. The Vietnam International Challenge, formerly Vietnam Satellite and Hanoi International, is an international badminton tournament held in Vietnam. This tournament has been an International Challenge level since 2008. Another tournament named Vietnam International Series established in 2014, and Vietnam Open established in 1996.

The Lithuanian International is an international badminton tournament held in Lithuania. This tournament has been a Future Series. The 2011 tournament was called Lithuanian Open, and classified as International Series level. It is organised by Lithuanian Badminton Federation.

The Denmark Challenge is an international badminton tournament held in Denmark. This tournament has been an International Challenge level. Another tournament for higher level in the country is Denmark Open.

The Malaysia International is an open international badminton tournament in Malaysia established since 1997. This tournament also known as Malaysia Satellite, Malaysia Asian Satellite, and Malaysia International Challenge. This tournament has classified as BWF International Challenge tournament since Badminton World Federation (BWF) introduced in 2007. Other tournaments held in Malaysia with higher level and prize money are named Malaysia Masters and Malaysia Open.

Jacky Kok Jing Hong is a Malaysian badminton player. In 2022, he won his first senior title at the Swedish Open.
