Matthew Lee Hughes (born 31 October 1978) is a Welsh retired badminton player. [2]
Hughes had a career spanning 22 years, with over 100 caps for Wales, winning 10 International tournaments and competing at three Commonwealth games alongside reaching highest rankings in both mixed and men's doubles disciplines. Hughes is also a former Performance Manager and National Coach of Badminton Wales. He has coached players at all the major team events World Championships, European Championships and Commonwealth Games. [3]
The World Badminton Grand Prix has been sanctioned by the International Badminton Federation since 1983.

Nathan James Robertson from Cotgrave in Nottinghamshire is a retired English badminton player who has achieved international success in both the men's events and the mixed doubles event. He was educated at Dayncourt School Specialist Sports College.
Kelly Ann Aston is a Welsh badminton player. She has represented Wales and Great Britain in regional and international competitions, including the Olympics and the Commonwealth Games, winning gold in the 1998 Commonwealth Games, and beat world number one Ye Zhaoying of China in the 1999 IBF World Championships.
Wong Pei Tty is a Malaysian former doubles badminton player. Following the dismissal of a badminton coach at the Singapore Sports School in October 2023, Wong was hired as the Head Coach for the Badminton Academy. Her previous stint included being an assistant coach for Malaysia women's doubles national team.
Anthony Ian Clark is an English former badminton player. He is a mixed and men's doubles silver medalists at the 2006 World Championships. Clark won the mixed doubles title at the 2008 European Championships, and was part of the England winning team at the 2002 Commonwealth Games.

Christopher Thomas Adcock is a retired English badminton player. Adcock is currently sponsored by Yonex and YC Sports and plays for the University of Nottingham-based NBL team. He entered the National team in 2006, and later won the boys' doubles and mixed team titles at the 2007 European Junior Championships. He was a World Championships medalists winning a silver in 2011 with Imogen Bankier and a bronze in 2017 with Gabby Adcock. Together with Gabby, he also won a silver medal at the 2007 World Junior Championships, and then claimed the gold medals at the Commonwealth Games in 2014 and 2018; and at the European Championships in 2017 and 2018.
Pranaav Jerry Chopra is an Indian badminton player. He joined the India national badminton team in 2007. In the year 2018, at the Commonwealth Games held in Gold Coast, Queensland, he won the gold medal in mixed team as being a member of the Indian mixed team. He is only the second player from India to reach Top 15 in the World Rankings in Mixed Doubles with his partner.
Christopher Phillip Langridge is a retired British badminton player. He competed for England at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where he won three medals. He represented Great Britain at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and won a bronze medal in the men's doubles, partnered with Marcus Ellis. They also won gold medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2019 European Games.

Adrian Liu is a male Canadian badminton player from Prince Rupert, British Columbia. He has been the top ranked men's individual and doubles player on the continent and a contender in major international competitions. He is a National champion in men's doubles and has won several international titles since 2010.
Marcus Ellis is a British badminton player. He was the men's doubles champion in the English National Championships. Ellis and Chris Langridge won a bronze medal in the men's doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, also gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. At the 2019 Minsk European Games, Ellis captured two gold medals; in the men's doubles with Langridge and in the mixed doubles event with Lauren Smith.
Matthew Chau is an Australian badminton player. He was four times men's doubles Oceania Champion winning in 2015–2018. Chau competed in the men's doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics alongside Sawan Serasinghe.
Julian Anthony Robertson is a former English badminton player. He competed for Great Britain at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics. Robertson was a former British champion and bronze medallists at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in the men's doubles and team event. He also won the men's doubles bronze at the 1998 European Championships, and helped the team win the silver medal. He has also been involved in another 6 European championship medal winning teams. The former world No. 8 has been working as a Great Britain coach since 2004 and is one of the most decorated home grown coaches England has ever produced achieving Olympic World Commonwealth and European success with his athletes. He is based in Milton Keynes.

He won the boys' doubles title at the European Junior Champions in 1983 and the men's doubles bronze medalist at the European Championships in 1988.
