Michael Fuchs (born 22 April 1982) is a retired international level badminton player from Germany. [2]
Michael Fuchs concentrates on doubles badminton competing with Johannes Schöttler in Men's and with Birgit Michels in the Mixed event. Fuchs and Michels have risen as high as sixth in the world rankings for their event. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Fuchs and Michels reached the quarter finals.

The BWF Superseries, which was launched on 14 December 2006 and implemented in 2007, [3] was a series of elite badminton tournaments, sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF). BWF Superseries levels were Superseries and Superseries Premier. A season of Superseries consisted of twelve tournaments around the world that had been introduced since 2011. [4] Successful players were invited to the Superseries Finals, which were held at the end of each year.

The BWF Grand Prix had two levels, the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Gold. It was a series of badminton tournaments sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and played between 2007 and 2017. The World Badminton Grand Prix was sanctioned by the International Badminton Federation from 1983 to 2006.

Christopher Thomas Adcock is a retired English badminton player. Adcock is currently sponsored by Yonex and YC Sports and plays for the University of Nottingham-based NBL team. He entered the National team in 2006, and later won the boys' doubles and mixed team titles at the 2007 European Junior Championships. He was a World Championships medalists winning a silver in 2011 with Imogen Bankier and a bronze in 2017 with Gabby Adcock. Together with Gabby, he also won a silver medal at the 2007 World Junior Championships, and then claimed the gold medals at the Commonwealth Games in 2014 and 2018; and at the European Championships in 2017 and 2018.
Tontowi Ahmad is a retired Indonesian badminton player. He plays for PB. Djarum, a badminton club in Kudus, Central Java and joined the club in 2005. Tontowi Ahmad rose to prominence in the world badminton in 2010 when he paired with the established mixed doubles star Liliyana Natsir. With Natsir he won the 2016 Olympic gold medal in the mixed doubles category.
Aleksandr Nikolaevich Nikolaenko is an internationally elite badminton player. Nikolaenko was part of the Favorit Ramenskoe badminton club, and in 2000, he was selected to join the national team. He was the bronze medallists at the European Mixed Team Badminton Championships in 2009 and 2011. Nikolaenko also the champion at the National Championships in the men's and mixed doubles event. In 2012, he competed at the Summer Olympics in London.
Mizuki Fujii is a badminton player from Ashikita, Kumamoto, Japan and plays for the Renesas badminton club. Mizuki Fujii concentrates on doubles badminton. Most of her success has come with women's doubles partner Reika Kakiiwa. Together they reached the final of the 2010 Korea Open Super Series, their first major final as a pair. She also assisted her team in winning the bronze medal at the 2010 Uber Cup. In the mixed doubles she pairs with Hirokatsu Hashimoto. Her career highest achievement was the silver medal in the women's doubles at the 2012 London Summer Olympics with Kakiiwa. She retired from professional badminton after the win at London.

Birgit Michels is a German badminton player. She competed for Germany at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics in the mixed doubles. In 2008, she competed with Kristof Hopp, and in 2012 she competed with Michael Fuchs, reaching the quarter-finals.
Bao Yixin is a Chinese badminton doubles player. She won titles in the women's doubles category with many different partners. She won two World Junior titles at the 2010 BWF World Junior Championships held in Guadalajara, Mexico. In the girls' doubles event, she was crowned World Junior Champion with Ou Dongni and in the mixed doubles she was crowned with Liu Cheng. She also won the mixed doubles at the 2009 Asian Junior Championships with Lu Kai and the mixed doubles at the 2010 Asian Junior Championships with Liu Cheng. Partnering with Tang Yuanting, Bao became the women's doubles champion at the 2015 All England Open. Bao graduated with a bachelor's degree from Xiangtan University.
Shizuka Matsuo is a Japanese badminton player. Born in Osaka, Matsuo once affiliated with Sanyo Electric and Panasonic badminton team, and after that joining the NTT East team in 2013. She is currently works as a doubles coach in NTT East. Matsuo was a part of the Japanese women's team bronze medalist at the 2014 Asian Games.

Debby Susanto is an Indonesian former badminton player who specializes in doubles. She joined PB Djarum, a badminton club in Kudus, Central Java from 2006 until her retirement. Susanto known as Muhammad Rijal's longtime partner in the mixed doubles. The partnership ended in the end of the 2013 shortly after they won gold medal in 2013 SEA Games in Myanmar due to Rijal's resignation from national team.
Nitya Krishinda Maheswari Korwa is an Indonesian former badminton player affiliated with Jaya Raya Jakarta, specializing in doubles event. She won the women's doubles gold medals at the 2011 SEA Games and at the 2014 Asian Games.
Edi Subaktiar is an Indonesian former badminton player specializing in doubles. He was the 2012 World Junior mixed doubles champion partnered with Melati Daeva Oktaviani. In the international competition, he was paired with Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja in mixed doubles and with Ronald Alexander in men's doubles. Since 2008, he joined PB. Djarum, a badminton club in Kudus, Central Java where his pair in mixed doubles Widjaja also joined. He retired in 2019 after a long injury which had prevented him to play again since it occurred at the 2017 SEA Games.
The 2014 Japan Super Series will be the sixth super series tournament of the 2014 BWF Super Series. The tournament took place in Tokyo, Japan from 10–15 June 2014 with a total purse of $250,000.
The 2014 BWF Super Series Finals was the final competition of the 2014 BWF Super Series. It was held from December 17 to December 21 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
