BWF profile

Doha Hany Mostafa (born 10 September 1997) is an Egyptian badminton player. She started playing badminton at aged five, and joined the national team in 2013. She won the bronze medal at the 2014 African Youth Games, and represented her country at the Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China. [2] She was the women's doubles gold medalist at the 2019 African Games. [3] Hany featured in Egypt team that for the first time won the All Africa Women's Team Championships in 2020, [4] also claimed two titles in the individual competition by winning the women's and mixed doubles event. [5] [6] She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in three different events; women's singles, doubles and mixed doubles. [7] [8]

Hadia Mohamed Hosny Elsaid Mohamed Tawfik El Said is an Egyptian badminton player playing in the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Olympics. She won the women's singles title at the 2010 African Championships, and emerged as the women's doubles gold medalist at the 2019 African Games.

Setyana Daniella Florensia Mapasa is an Indonesian-born Australian badminton player. Mapasa won a silver medal at the 2013 BWF World Junior Championships mixed team when she represented Indonesia. She officially became an Australian citizen in 2014. She was selected to join the national team compete at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. She was four times women's doubles Oceania champions from 2017 to 2020 with her partner Gronya Somerville, also two times champion in the mixed doubles event in 2017 and 2018 alongside Sawan Serasinghe.

Adham Hatem Elgamal is an Egyptian badminton player. He won the mixed doubles title at the 2020 African Championships together with his partner Doha Hany. Elgamal competed at the 2019 African Games, won a silver in the mixed doubles, and two bronze medals in the team and men's doubles events. He also participated at the 2018 Mediterranean Games, and at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Koceila Julien Mammeri is a French-Algerian badminton player who trained at the Oullins club in France. In the junior event, he was the third place at the Portugal International tournament in the boys' doubles event. He won gold medals at the 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 African Championships for men's doubles with his partner Youcef Sabri Medel, and in 2018 and 2019 for mixed doubles with Linda Mazri, and also in 2021 and 2022 for mixed doubles with Tanina Mammeri. He claimed the mixed doubles gold medals at the 2019 African Games with Mazri and in 2023 with Tanina Mammeri. He also won another gold in the men's doubles in 2023 with Medel.

Al Ahly Women's Volleyball Club (Arabic: النادي الاهلي للكرة الطائرة للسيدات) is a part of Al Ahly SC club, which represents the club in Egypt and in major international volleyball competitions. The club has been based in Cairo since the 1940s.

Badminton events at the 2019 African Games took place between 22 and 29 August at the Ain Chock Indoor Sports Center in Casablanca, Morocco. The badminton program in 2019 included men's and women's singles competitions; men's, women's and mixed doubles competitions alongside a mixed team event throughout the eight days of competition. The tournament served as a qualifier for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
