The East Germany national badminton team represented East Germany in international badminton team competitions. After the German reunification in October 1990, the East German badminton team merged with the national badminton of West Germany and the Deutscher Federball-Verband (also known as DDR-Badmintonverband) was merged with the German Badminton Association.
East Germany competed in the Helvetia Cup mixed team tournament once in 1977 and achieved third place. East Germany also won a bronze at the European Junior Badminton Championships in the women's singles event.

The Aruba national badminton team represents Aruba in international badminton team competitions and is controlled by the Aruba Badminton Federation which is affiliated with Badminton Pan America and the Caribbean Regional Badminton Confederation (CAREBACO). The team first competed in their first international team tournament in 1990.
The New Zealand national badminton team represents New Zealand in international badminton team competitions. The best result the national team has produced on the international stage was being the semifinalist at the Uber Cup in 1960 and 1972 respectively.

The Mexico national badminton team represents Mexico in international badminton team competitions and is controlled by the Mexican Badminton Federation. Mexico competed in the Sudirman Cup four times from 1991 until 2001.
The Kazakhstan national badminton team represents Kazakhstan in international badminton team competitions. The national team is controlled by the Kazakhstan Badminton Federation, the governing body for badminton in Kazakhstan.
The Macau national badminton team represents Macau SAR, China in international badminton team competitions. Macau participated in the 2019 Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships, also known as the Tong Yun Kai Cup. They were eliminated in the group stage.
The Austria national badminton team represents Austria in international badminton team competitions and is controlled by the Austrian Badminton Association. Austria participated in the Sudirman Cup from 1989 until 2017.
The Norway national badminton team represents Norway in international badminton team competitions. It is controlled by the Norwegian Badminton Association. Norway participated in the Sudirman Cup until 2007. The national team have never qualified nor competed in the Thomas Cup and the Uber Cup.
The Iceland national badminton team represents Iceland in international badminton team competitions. The national team is controlled by the national organization for badminton in Iceland, Badminton Iceland.
The Czech Republic national badminton team represents Czech Republic in international badminton team competitions. The Czech team competed in the 1991 Sudirman Cup under the Czechoslovakia national badminton team merged with Slovakia. The national team was formed after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1992 and the Czech Republic and Slovakia were separated into two different national teams.
The Argentina national badminton team represents Argentina in international badminton team competitions and is administered by Argentine Badminton Federation. Badminton has been played in Argentina since the 20th century in clubs and schools across the nation. The sport was promoted in the 1970s by the Argentine Youth Christian Association but did not garner much attention.
The Jamaica national badminton team represents Jamaica in international badminton team competitions. It is controlled by the Jamaica Badminton Association, the governing body for badminton in Jamaica. The Jamaican mixed team participated three times in the Sudirman Cup and were eliminated in the group stages.

The Tahiti national badminton team represents French Polynesia, an overseas collectivity of France, in international badminton team competitions. The Tahitian team has competed in the Oceania Badminton Championships since 2014. The men's team achieved third place three times in the team tournament while the mixed team won bronze in the 2014 Oceania Badminton Championships.
The Azerbaijan national badminton team represents Azerbaijan in international badminton team competitions. The national team was formed in 1964 after badminton was introduced in Azerbaijan by the Soviets and after the formation of the Azerbaijan Republic Badminton Federation.

Barbados have never medaled at the Pan American Badminton Championships. The Barbadian mixed team started participating in the Commonwealth Games mixed team event since 2010.
