The 1993 European Junior Badminton Championships was the 13th tournament of the European Junior Badminton Championships. It was held in Sofia, Bulgaria, in the month of April. [1] Danish players swept all the titles home, the singles, the doubles and mixed team championships as well. [2] [3]

Kim Astrup Sørensen is a Danish badminton player. As junior player, he won the bronze medal at the 2010 World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles. He later won a gold in the mixed doubles and bronze medals in the boys' doubles and team events at the 2011 European Junior Championships. He joined the Denmark winning team at the 2016 Thomas Cup in Kunshan, China, where he and his teammates beating Indonesia 3–2 in the final. Astrup emerged victorious in the men's doubles at the 2018 European Championships.

Anders Antonsen is a Danish badminton player. He won the gold medal at the 2015 European Junior Championships in the boys singles event, and at the same year was awarded the European Young Player of the Year. Together with the national team, he won the European Men's Team Championships in 2016 and 2018; also European Mixed Team Championships in 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023. Antonsen was the champion at the 2019 Minsk European Games, 2021 European Championships, the silver medalist at the 2017 European Championships, and the 2019 World Championships, and the bronze medalist at the 2021 World Championships.

Mette Poulsen is a Danish badminton player. She was the girls' doubles gold medalist at the 2011 European Junior Championships, and the women's singles bronze medalist at the 2017 European Championships. Poulsen helped the national team win the European Women's Team Championships in 2014, 2016 and 2020.

Anne-Mette van Dijk is a Danish former top badminton player of mid '90s. Anne Mette Bille won her first title in 1980 at the Danish U13 Junior Individual Championships. In 1993 she reached the quarter-finals at the World Championships. 1994, she won silver at the European Championship in the mixed team event. Her husband Jeroen van Dijk was a former Olympian in Badminton. They met each other in 1994 in Taiwan & got married in 1999. She runs a shop for greeting cards for various occasions in Lyngby.

Danish players won four titles, both the singles and Mixed doubles and Mixed team championships. While Sweden bagged boys' doubles title and England the girls' doubles gold.

The 1991 European Junior Badminton Championships was the 12th tournament of the European Junior Badminton Championships. It was held in Budapest, Hungary, from 31 March to 6th of April. Danish players won four titles girls' singles, and all the three doubles disciplines while Austria won Boys' singles and Soviet Union won the mixed team championships.

Denmark won four disciplines, the Boys' singles and doubles, Girls' doubles and mixed team championships, while, English players secured titles in Girls' singles and Mixed doubles.

The 1983 European Junior Badminton Championships was the eighth edition of the European Junior Badminton Championships. It was held in Helsinki, Finland, in the month of March and April. Denmark won two disciplines, the Boys' singles and Mixed doubles, England won three titles in Girls' singles, Girls' doubles and mixed team championships, while, Wales won the Boys' doubles.

The 1985 European Junior Badminton Championships was the ninth edition of the European Junior Badminton Championships. It was held in Pressbaum, Austria, in the month of March and April. Denmark won all the titles except Boys' singles which was won by England.

The 1995 European Junior Badminton Championships was the 14th tournament of the European Junior Badminton Championships. It was held in Nitra, Slovakia, in the month of April. Danish players dominated with four titles in both Boys' events, Mixed doubles and Mixed team championships while Nederlands won Girls' singles and England secured the Girls' doubles title.
