The 1975 European Junior Badminton Championships was the fourth edition of the European Junior Badminton Championships. It was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, in the month of April. [1] Danish players won three titles, the Girls' singles, Girls' doubles and mixed team championships while England won Mixed doubles, and Sweden won Boys' singles and Boys' doubles disciplines. [2]

Line Kjærsfeldt Danish badminton player

Line Højmark Kjærsfeldt is a Danish badminton player specializing in singles. She won a bronze medal at the 2010 BWF World Junior Championships in women's doubles with Sandra-Maria Jensen. Kjærsfeldt also won a gold medal in 2015 European Games.

Kim Astrup Sørensen is a Danish badminton player. As junior player, he won the bronze medal at the 2010 World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles. He later won a gold in the mixed doubles and bronze medals in the boys' doubles and team events at the 2011 European Junior Championships. He joined the Denmark winning team at the 2016 Thomas Cup in Kunshan, China, where he and his teammates beating Indonesia 3–2 in the final. Astrup emerge victorious in the men's doubles at the 2018 European Championships.

Sandra-Maria Jensen is a Danish badminton player. Born in Bulgaria, Jensen and her family moved to Denmark when she was four. At the age of fifteen, she was selected to join national U-19 team to compete at the 2009 World Junior Championships as the younger player in the squad. She won the bronze medal at the 2010 World Junior Championships in the girls' doubles event partnered with Line Kjærsfeldt, and at the European Junior Championships, she helps the team won a bronze in 2011 and a gold in 2013, also settled a bronze medal in the girls' doubles event in 2011. Jensen joined the national elite squad that won the European Women's Team Championships in 2014 and European Mixed Team Championships in 2015.

Mette Poulsen is a Danish badminton player. She was the girls' doubles gold medalist at the 2011 European Junior Championships, and the women's singles bronze medalist at the 2017 European Championships. Poulsen helps the national team won the European Women's Team Championships in 2014, 2016 and 2020.

Yuta Watanabe is a badminton player from Japan. He is a member of the Nihon Unisys team, and national team A representative. Known for his quick and explosive movements with his signature drop shot. Watanabe has collected three bronze medals at the World Junior Championships, and also four bronze at the Asian Junior Championships. Watanabe was selected to join the Japanese mixed team compete at the 2017 Sudirman Cup in Gold Coast, Australia, winning a gold medal in the qualification to Gold Coast at the 2017 Asia Mixed Team Championships in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and the team finished in the semi-final round, took the bronze medal. The left-handed Watanabe has won the maiden Super 1000 tournament a total of four times, the first ever male player from Japan to win an All England Open title. First at the 2018 All England Open in the mixed doubles event partnered with Arisa Higashino, then in the 2020 All England Open in the men's doubles event with Hiroyuki Endo, and in both men's and mixed doubles in the 2021 All England Open, defending his men's doubles title with Hiroyuki Endo and winning the mixed doubles category with once again, Arisa Higashino.

Christo Popov is a French badminton player who affiliate with Fos club. He was the boys' doubles European U15 and U17 Junior Champions, also won the boys' singles silver medals at the 2018 European and 2019 World Junior Championships. He reached a career high as boys' singles World Junior number 1 in January 2020. He then clinched the boys' singles title at the 2020 European Junior Championships.

The 1999 European Junior Badminton Championships were the 16th tournament of the European Junior Badminton Championships. It was held in Kevin Hall, Glasgow, Scotland, from 3 April – 10 April 1999. German players won both the singles events and Girls' doubles title, while Danish players grabbed titles in Boys' doubles and Mixed doubles. Germany also won the mixed team title.

English players dominated by winning five out of six matches which includes the mixed team championships as well. Danish team won the Boys' doubles title. Kevin Jolly, the English player who was scheduled to play in three final showdowns suffered foot injury, preventing him from contesting all the matches. Thus, matches for only Girls' singles and Girls' doubles were played on final day. The large-scale final day had to be saved with some show matches. In these show matches, Sweden's Ulf Johansson beat Andy Goode, England, who was named champion in singles, while Jesper and Niels in doubles beat Nigel Tier & Gary Reeves, England, 18-13, 15-11.

The 1981 European Junior Badminton Championships was the seventh edition of the European Junior Badminton Championships. It was held in Edinburgh, Scotland, in the month of April. Denmark won four disciplines, the Boys' singles and doubles, Girls' doubles and mixed team championships, while, English players secured titles in Girls' singles and Mixed doubles.

The 1983 European Junior Badminton Championships was the eighth edition of the European Junior Badminton Championships. It was held in Helsinki, Finland, in the month of March and April. Denmark won two disciplines, the Boys' singles and Mixed doubles, England won three titles in Girls' singles, Girls' doubles and mixed team championships, while, Wales won the Boys' doubles.
