The 1995 European Junior Badminton Championships was the 14th tournament of the European Junior Badminton Championships. It was held in Nitra, Slovakia, in the month of April. [1] Danish players dominated with four titles in both Boys' events, Mixed doubles and Mixed team championships while Nederlands won Girls' singles and England secured the Girls' doubles title. Viktor Axelsen is a Danish badminton player who is the current number one ranked men's singles player in the world. He is a two-time World Championship gold medalist, defeating Lin Dan in 2017 final and Kunlavut Vitidsarn in 2022 final. He is also the reigning Olympic Champion, having won at the 2020 event.

Line Højmark Kjærsfeldt is a Danish badminton player specializing in singles. She won a bronze medal at the 2010 BWF World Junior Championships in the women's doubles with Sandra-Maria Jensen. Kjærsfeldt also won a gold medal in 2015 European Games.

Mette Poulsen is a Danish badminton player. She was the girls' doubles gold medalist at the 2011 European Junior Championships, and the women's singles bronze medalist at the 2017 European Championships. Poulsen helped the national team win the European Women's Team Championships in 2014, 2016 and 2020.

Tang Xianhu is a Indonesia-born Chinese former badminton player and coach. In the early days of his career, Tang was unable to participate in international competitions due to political factors, but he defeated the world's top players many times during overseas visits and exchanges, and was known as the "Uncrowned King" in badminton. He won the Asian Games men's team gold in 1974 and mixed doubles gold in 1978. After retiring, he started coaching in China and Indonesia. Many of the players he coached had won the World Championships and/or Olympic gold medals such as Lin Ying, Wu Dixi, Li Lingwei, Han Aiping, Ji Xinpeng, Xia Xuanze, Sun Jun, Lin Dan, Cai Yun, Fu Haifeng, Alan Budikusuma and Hendrawan. In 2002, he was inducted into the Badminton Hall of Fame.
