The 2011 European Junior Badminton Championships were held at the Vantaan Energia Arena in Vantaa, Finland, between 15-24 April 2011. [1] [2]

Ville Lång Finnish badminton player

Ville Lång is a badminton player from Finland. He won ten consecutive Finland's National Championship men's singles title in 2005–2014, and 3 men's doubles title in 2010, 2011, and 2017. In 2003, he won bronze at the European Junior Championships. Lång competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. He announced his retirement on 31 January 2016, and received a meritorious service award from BWF. After retired from the international competition, Lång started his coaching career first in Paris where he coached the league team Aulnay-sous-Bois after which he has been the head coach of one local club in Sweden. In 2019, he was elected as vice chairman of BWF Athletes' Commission to represent the needs and views of athletes to the BWF council and committees.

Viktor Axelsen Danish badminton player

Viktor Axelsen is a Danish badminton player. He is the 2017 World champion and the 2020 Olympic champion. He won the 2010 World Junior Championships, beating South Korea's Kang Ji-wook in the final to become the first ever European player to hold the title. Axelsen was crowned European men's singles champion in 2016 and 2018.

The 2015 European Junior Badminton Championships were held at the Regional Sport Centrum Hall in Lubin, Poland, between 26 March - 4 April 2015.

Kim Astrup Sørensen is a Danish badminton player. As junior player, he won the bronze medal at the 2010 World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles. He later won a gold in the mixed doubles and bronze medals in the boys' doubles and team events at the 2011 European Junior Championships. He joined the Denmark winning team at the 2016 Thomas Cup in Kunshan, China, where he and his teammates beating Indonesia 3–2 in the final. Astrup emerge victorious in the men's doubles at the 2018 European Championships.

In 2013, he became the runner-up of Estonian International in men's doubles event. In 2014, he won a bronze medal at the European Men's Team Championships in Basel. Henri Aarnio is a Finnish badminton player. He started playing badminton at 9 years old, then at age 19, he won the Finnish International Junior Championships in boys' singles. In 2015, he was the runner-up at the Slovak Open in the men's singles event and in 2016, he became the runner-up of the Hellas Open in the mixed doubles event with Jenny Nyström. Christo Popov is a French badminton player who affiliate with Fos club. He was the boys' doubles European U15 and U17 Junior Champions, also won the boys' singles silver medals at the 2018 European and 2019 World Junior Championships. He reached a career high as boys' singles World Junior number 1 in January 2020. He then clinched the boys' singles title at the 2020 European Junior Championships.
