Lotte Jonathans (born 17 September 1977) is a Dutch former badminton player.
Jonathans made her debut at the Olympics in the 2000 Sydney, reaching the quarter finals of the women's doubles with Nicole van Hooren.
Jonathans made her second appearance at the Olympics in the 2004 Athens. She played in the women's doubles with partner Mia Audina. They had a bye in the first round and defeated Ella Tripp and Joanne Wright of Great Britain in the second. In the quarterfinals, Jonathans and Audina lost to Lee Kyung-won and Ra Kyung-min of South Korea 5–15, 2–15. Jonathans also competed in the mixed doubles with partner Chris Bruil, who was her husband until 2008. They had a bye in the first round and were defeated by Kim Dong-moon and Ra Kyung-min of South Korea in the round of 16.
She captured the women's doubles title with Mia Audina at the 2004 European Badminton Championships in Geneva, Switzerland. [1] She won gold with the Dutch National badminton team at the 2006 European Women's Team Championships in Thessalonica, Greece. She also won two silver medals (2004 and 2006) and a bronze (2002) with the Dutch squad at the European Mixed Team Championships.
Jonathans also won a bronze (2002) and a silver medal (2006) with the Dutch women's team at the Uber Cup. As a part of the BC Amersfoort team with Yao Jie, Larisa Griga, Dicky Palyama and Eric Pang, Jonathans reached the final of the 2007 European Cup in Amersfoort where they lost against the team of NL Primoriye.

The BWF Grand Prix had two levels, the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Gold. It was a series of badminton tournaments sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and played between 2007 and 2017. The World Badminton Grand Prix was sanctioned by the International Badminton Federation from 1983 to 2006.

Petya Nedelcheva is a Bulgarian badminton player. She was born in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. At the Bulgarian National Badminton Championships she won more than 20 titles.
Yao Jie is a Chinese-born badminton player who now resides in the Netherlands.
Zhou Mi is a Chinese badminton player. During much of her career she represented the People's Republic of China, but since 2007 she has represented Hong Kong which has a sports program and teams independent from those of the mainland. In 2010, she received a 2-year ban, for failing a drugs test.
Mia Audina Tjiptawan is a former Indonesian badminton player who represented Indonesia and later the Netherlands in international competitions. A badminton prodigy, Audina first played Uber Cup for Indonesia at age fourteen, winning the decisive final match in the championship round against China in 1994. She was briefly ranked as the World No.1 women's singles player in October 1996. Audina helped Indonesia to retain the Uber Cup title in 1996, and was a member of the 1998 Indonesian team which relinquished the Cup to China, before moving to the Netherlands with her Dutch-national husband in 2000.
Kim Dong-moon is a retired South Korean badminton player who won major titles between the mid-1990s and the mid-2000s (decade), and widely regarded as one of finest men's doubles and mixed doubles players in badminton history. Kim captured the world attention when he unexpectedly winning the gold medal in the mixed doubles event with Gil Young-ah at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics. On his path to greatness, he won gold medals both in men's and mixed doubles at the 1999 World Championships. Kim and Ra Kyung-min, partnered up to become one of the strongest mixed doubles pairings of that time. They did not drop a single match from April to November in 2003. They won 10 straight victorious tournaments: 9 consecutive Grand Prix events and one World Championship title. Their excellent results in 2003 earned Kim and Ra the Eddie Choong Player of the Year award. He captured this award previously by himself in 2002. Despite their domination, the golden couple crashed in the second round against the Danish partnership of Jonas Rasmussen and Rikke Olsen at the 2004 Athens Olympics. Kim however redeemed himself with a gold medal in men's doubles with Ha Tae-kwon. After the 2004 Olympics, Kim retired from playing and married his former mixed doubles partner, Ra in 2005. Kim is currently the only South Korean player to have ever won Olympic gold in both the men's and mixed doubles events. He was inducted into the BWF Hall of Fame in 2009.
Lita Nurlita is an Indonesian former badminton player affiliated with SGS PLN Bandung club. She won the women's doubles title at the 2003 Southeast Asian Games, and was part of the Indonesian women's team that won the 2007 Southeast Asian Games. She also won three bronze medals at the Asian Championships in 2003, 2005, and 2007.
Lee Hyo-jung is a South Korean former badminton player.
Hwang Yu-mi is a South Korean former badminton player. She competed at the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics.
Rikke Olsen Siegemund is a retired badminton player from Denmark. She won the mixed doubles title at the World Junior Championships in 1992 and the girls' doubles title at the European Junior Championships in 1993.
Zhao Tingting is a Chinese badminton player from Nantong, Jiangsu.
Larisa Valeriïvna Griga is a badminton player from Ukraine. She was the gold medalist at the 2003 European Junior Championships in the girls' singles event. She competed at the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games.
Rachel Louise Hindley is a New Zealand badminton player. She won the women's singles gold at the Oceania Championships in 2006 and also women's doubles gold in 2008. She competed at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games in the women's singles, doubles, and team event; and reaching the quarter finals in the singles event.
Ra Kyung-min is a badminton player from South Korea. Ra was a dominating mixed doubles team with her partner Kim Dong-moon from the late 1990s to early 2000s, resulting in a 70–match winning streak and 14 consecutive titles in international tournaments.
Huaiwen Xu is a German badminton player. Born in Guiyang, Guizhou, China, she decided to play for Germany because the Chinese thought that she was too short to play professional world badminton.
Paulien van Dooremalen is a Dutch former badminton player and also played for the Amersfoort club. She currently resides in Arnhem and was a doubles specialist. She also featured in the Netherlands women's team that won the 2006 European Women's Team Championships, and also the silver medal at the world women's team championships, 2006 Uber Cup in Japan.
Lee Kyung-won is a badminton player from South Korea. Lee was the women's doubles gold medallist at the 2002 Asian Games. She competed at the Olympic Games in 2000, 2004, and 2008, winning women's doubles bronze in 2004, and silver in 2008. She captured the women's doubles gold at the Asian Championships in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Lee educated at the Sungji Girls' Middle School, Sungji Girls' High School, and graduated from the Yong In University.
Lena Frier Kristiansen is a badminton player from Denmark. In 2001, she won the silver and bronze medals at the European Junior Championships in the mixed team and doubles respectively. Partneres with Kamilla Rytter Juhl, they won the bronze medal the 2006 European Championships in the women's doubles event, and made it to the gold medal in 2008. They also competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, but was defeated in the first round by the Japanese pair Kumiko Ogura and Reiko Shiota in the rubber games.
Ha Jung-eun is a women's and mixed doubles badminton player from South Korea. Ha was competed at the 2006, 2010 Asian Games, 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Together with the Korean national women's team, they won the Uber Cup in 2010. At the same year, she won the bronze medal at the World Championships in the mixed doubles event.
Selena Piek is a Dutch badminton player who specializes in doubles. Her current partner is Cheryl Seinen for women's doubles and Robin Tabeling for mixed doubles. She won the 2014 and 2015 editions of Dutch National Badminton Championships with Eefje Muskens. She has also won the mixed doubles national championships title since 2012 with three different partners. Piek was the gold medalist at the 2019 European Games in the women's doubles event with Cheryl Seinen.
Jiang Xuelian is a former Chinese badminton player, who later represented Canada. Jiang was joined the Chongqing badminton team in 1993. In 1997, she entered the Sichuan Institute of Sports & Technology, and at the same year she was selected to join the national team. In 2001, she competed at the IBF World Championships in Seville, Spain, and won the women's doubles bronze with Chen Lin. She was retired from the national team in 2004, and in 2009, she started to represent Canada.
