Alyssa Tirtosentono (born 29 May 2000) is a Dutch badminton player. [3] She won a silver medal at the 2018 European Junior Championships.

Career

Tirtosentono came from a badminton family, who have a Surinamese Javanese background. She started to playing badminton with her late grandfather, Press, who was a badminton coach and veteran champion, while her late father, Steven, was also a player and a huge badminton fan. At the age of 17, she started training in the NSF Sportcentrum Papendal, where she also used to live. [4] In the Dutch Eredivisie league Alyssa is playing since a long time for her club DKC in the Hague, after a short spell at another Dutch club BC Dropshot. While in Denmark for some seasons she plays competition for Team Skælskør - Slagelse (TSS). She is also head trainer for the badminton club Appoldro in Apeldoorn, trainer at Badminton Club Phido in Doetinchem and once a week trainer of the juniors at Wageningen in the Netherlands. [5]

Her specialty is in the doubles events, where together with her previous doubles partner Imke van der Aar she won the Spanish International 2021 and reached the semi-finals of the Dutch Open 2021.

Together with her former partner Kirsten de Wit she won two events: the Malta International 2022 [6] and the Luxembourg Open 2023 [7] . In the Mixed Doubles event she won her first international title at the Hungarian International Challenge 2022 with Brian Wassink. [8]

Isabel Lohau is a German badminton player, specializing in doubles play. She started playing badminton at her hometown Hersbruck in 2001, and in 2010 she joined the Germany national badminton team. She along with national team won the 2011 European Junior Championships and 2012 European Women's Team Championships. In the individual event, Lohau also won the bronze medals at the 2010 World Junior Championships in the mixed doubles, 2011 European Junior Championships in the mixed and girls' doubles, and at the 2018 and 2021 European Championships in the mixed doubles. Crystal Leefmans is a Surinamese badminton player. In 2010, she won the bronze medals at the Medellín South American Games in the mixed doubles and team event. In 2011, she won the mixed doubles title at the Carebaco International tournament in the individuals event of the Carebaco Games partnered with Mitchel Wongsodikromo. Leefmans was also the champion at the Suriname International tournament in 2012 and 2013. In 2018 she won the mixed doubles Carebaco International title again at home, this time partnering compatriot Dylan Darmohoetomo. She was the flagbearer for Suriname at the 2011 Pan Am Games.

Ruben Jille is a Dutch badminton player, specializing in doubles play. The righthanded Jille, started playing badminton at a small local club in Houten, the place where he grew up. He chose to join the national team in 2014. In 2016, he was semi-finalist at the Dutch Open partnered with Jacco Arends in the men's doubles event. In 2017, this partnership won its first international title at the Spanish International. His sister Debora Jille is also a member of the Dutch National badminton squad.

Julie Claire MacPherson is a Scottish badminton player who competes in international level events both for Scotland and Great Britain. She affiliates with club SV Fun-Ball Dortelweil She has won the Scottish National Championships seven times in the women's doubles and five times in the mixed doubles. She also part of team Scotland that won the bronze medal at the 2020 European Women's Team Championships.

Ties van der Lecq is a Dutch badminton player. He won the men's doubles title at the 2020 Dutch National Championships, and was part of Dutch team that won a silver medal at the 2020 European Men's Team Championships and also a bronze medal at the 2019 European Mixed Team Championships.
