The 2015 Gira Angola was the 21st season of the second-tier football league in Angola. The season ran from 11 July to 4 October 2015.

Gira Angola aka Segundona is the 2nd division of Angolan football (soccer). It is organized by the Angolan Football Federation and gives access to Angola's top tier football division Girabola.

The league comprises 2 series of 6 teams, the winner of each series being automatically promoted to the 2016 Girabola while the runners-up of each group will contest for the third spot. [1] At the end of the regular season, the three series winners will play a round-robin tournament to determine the league champion.

2016 Girabola

The 2016 Girabola is the 38th season of top-tier football in Angola. The season ran from 19 February to 5 November 2016.

Real M'buco and Mpatu a Ponta who were supposed to contest in group A, withdrew citing financial reasons as did Malanje Sport Clube in group B for the same reason.

All teams in each group play in a double round robin system (home and away).

Estrela Clube Primeiro de Maio, usually known simply as Primeiro de Maio or 1º de Maio, is a football (soccer) club from Benguela, Angola. The club was the result of a merger from two clubs: Estrela Vermelha de Benguela and Grupo Desportivo 1º de Maio being then named África Têxtil 1º de Maio de Benguela due to its then major sponsor, a Benguela-based textile factory called África Têxtil. The 2007 Girabola was the 29th season of the top-tier football league in Angola. The season ran from 14 February to 21 October 2007. Primeiro de Agosto were the defending champions.
