The 2015 Kontinental Hockey League All-Star Game was the All-Star game for the 2014–15 season of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). It took place on 25 January 2015 at the Bolshoy Ice Dome in Sochi, Russia, and resulted in Team East, captained by Danis Zaripov, winning 18–16 over Team West, captained by Ilya Kovalchuk.

The 2014–15 KHL season is the seventh season of the Kontinental Hockey League. The season started on 3 September with the Opening Cup between defending champions Metallurg Magnitogorsk and Dynamo Moscow, replacing Lev Praha, last year's runner up not participating this season.

Bolshoy Ice Dome multi-purpose arena in Sochi, Russia

The Bolshoy Ice Dome is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Olympic Park, Sochi, Russia. Opened in 2012, the 12,000-seat arena was primarily constructed to host hockey competitions during the 2014 Winter Olympics. Following the Games, it became the home arena of HC Sochi, an expansion team of the KHL. The arena has also hosted concerts and other events. Prior to the Games, the arena hosted the IIHF World U18 Championships and Channel One Cup in 2013.

The 2011 Kontinental Hockey League All-Star Game was the All-Star game for the 2010–11 season of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). It took place on 5 February 2011 at the Ice Palace in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Although the captains of the all-star teams remained the same as the previous years, with Team Jágr playing against Team Yashin, under the new format Team Jagr is a team made up of Eastern Conference players while Team Yashin is a team made up of Western Conference players.

2011–12 KHL season sports season

The 2011–12 KHL season was the fourth season of the Kontinental Hockey League. The regular season began with the Opening Cup game on 7 September 2011, but because of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl plane crash, which occurred during the first period of the Cup game and killed all but one member of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl team, further play was delayed until 12 September 2011. The tragedy forced Lokomotiv Yaroslavl to cancel their participation in the KHL season. The Opening Cup was renamed the Lokomotiv Cup in honor of those lost in the tragedy. The regular season ended on 26 February 2012 and the following playoffs ended on 25 April.

The 2012–13 KHL season was the fifth season of the Kontinental Hockey League. The regular season began on 4 September with the Lokomotiv Cup between last year's finalists Dynamo Moscow and Avangard Omsk. For the first time, the league consisted of 26 teams from 7 different countries. Dynamo Moscow successfully defended their title after beating Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Gagarin Cup finals.
