The following is a list of the annual point scoring champions of the top Russian ice hockey league of each era, from the Soviet Championship League to the current Kontinental Hockey League.

Alexander Valerievich Radulov is a Russian professional ice hockey player for Ak Bars Kazan of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He had previously had two separate stints with the Nashville Predators, the NHL team which had drafted him, from 2006 to 2008 and again in 2012, as well one season with the Montreal Canadiens, five seasons with the Dallas Stars between 2016 and 2022, and eight seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), split evenly between Salavat Yulaev Ufa and CSKA Moscow from 2008 to 2016.
Hockey Club Avangard, also known as Avangard Omsk, is a Russian professional ice hockey team from Omsk. It is a member of the Chernyshev Division in the Eastern Conference of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).

CSKA won more Soviet championships and European cups than any other team in history. It is owned by Russia's largest oil company, Rosneft, which is in turn majority-owned by the Russian government.

It is named in honor of Arkady Chernyshev; Soviet Master of Sports, IIHF Hall of Fame inductee and former Dynamo Moscow head coach.
The 1993 Russian Second League was the second edition of Russian Second Division. There were 7 zones with 124 teams in total. In 1994 the Russian League system was reorganized, with First League reduced to one tournament instead of 3 zones and new professional Third League organized, where most of the teams from the 1993 Second League ended up. No teams were promoted to the 1994 Russian First League.
Vladimir Alexanderovich Zharkov is a Russian professional ice hockey right winger. He is currently playing with Traktor Chelyabinsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He has formerly playing in the National Hockey League with the New Jersey Devils. Zharkov was selected by the Devils in the 3rd round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Mikhail Valeryevich Pashnin is a Russian professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing for SKA Saint Petersburg in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He was drafted in the 7th round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Rangers, as well as first-overall pick in that year's KHL Junior Draft by CSKA Moscow.

The 2019 Gagarin Cup playoffs of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) began on 25 February 2019, with the top eight teams from each of the conferences, following the conclusion of the 2018–19 KHL regular season. The playoffs ended on 19 April 2019, when Continental Cup winners CSKA Moscow became the first team to win the Gagarin Cup finals in a series sweep, defeating Avangard Omsk in four games to win their first Gagarin Cup, after two previous Finals defeats.
