The 2015 Saudi Super Cup was the third edition of the Saudi Super Cup, an annual football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Saudi Pro League and King Cup competitions.
The match was played on 12 August 2015 between Al-Nassr, the winners of the 2014–15 Saudi Pro League, and Al-Hilal, the winners of the 2015 King Cup. [1]
It was the first edition of the Saudi Super Cup to be held abroad, taking place at the Loftus Road Stadium in London, England. The match was reportedly aimed at engaging Saudi students and expatriates living in the United Kingdom.
Al-Hilal won the match 1–0, with the only goal scored by Carlos Eduardo, to claim their first Saudi Super Cup title. [2] [3]
The 2015 Saudi Super Cup was originally scheduled to be played at King Fahd International Stadium, in Riyadh on 14 August 2015, however The SAFF decided to change it to be held at Loftus Road Stadium, in London on 12 August 2015. [4]
