The 2015 Dhivehi Premier League was the first season of the Dhivehi Premier League, the top division of Maldivian football. The season began on 20 April 2015. The league was made up of the 8 clubs that broke away from the Dhivehi League at the end of the 2014 season.

2016 Dhivehi Premier League Play-off

The play-off were to be played between 7th placed team in 2015 Dhivehi Premier League, B.G. Sports Club and 2015 Second Division runner up team. Since recreation clubs of government offices are not allowed in the Football Association of Maldives first division football tournaments, the play-off spot was given to the fourth placed Club Green Streets. [12] 2015 Second Division runner-ups were Police Club while Dhivehi Sifainge Club were third in the league table.

President's Cup is said to be the first tournament in the Maldives and also the birth of Football in the Maldives. The very first tournament was held in 1946, with 2006 seeing its 50th edition. The first edition ended with Customs and Naadhee Ahthamadhun both sharing the trophy.

The age group of this tournament is Under-21. This tournament is supported by the Japan Football Association.

The 2015 Maldivian FA Charity Shield, was the 7th Maldivian FA Charity Shield, an annual Maldivian football match played between the winners of the previous season's Dhivehi League and FA Cup. The 2017 Malé League is the seventh season of the Malé League, the top division of Maldivian football under the latest update of the Maldivian football league system. The league was made up of the 8 clubs.

The 2019–20 Dhivehi Premier League was the fifth season of the Dhivehi Premier League, the top-tier football league in the Maldives. The season started on 14 June 2019. TC Sports are the defending champions.
