The Siliguri Municipal Corporation election, 2015 is an election of members to the Siliguri Municipal Corporation which governs Siliguri. The 2015 SMC election was conducted on 25 April 2015 to elect members to all 47 wards of the municipal corporation.

The Left Front formed the board in the Siliguri Municipal Corporation. TMC jumping from 14 to 17 seats. Indian National Congress had fallen to 4 seats.

A Legislative Assembly election was held in 2016 for the 294 seats of the Vidhan Sabha in the state of West Bengal in India. The All India Trinamool Congress under Mamata Banerjee won 211 seats, and thus was reelected with an enhanced majority. Like in the 2011 election, the poll was held in six phases, with the first phase divided into two days. The first phase was held in Naxalite-Maoist affected Red corridor areas with two polling dates: 4 April and 11 April. The other phases were held on 17, 21, 25, 30 April and 5 May. The result of the election was declared on 19 May.

The 8th Paravur Municipal council election was held on 8 December 2020 and the result announced on 16 December. Both LDF and UDF fronts won 14 seats each and NDA won 4 seats. The result declared as Hung because none of the fronts got the minimum seats to rule

2015 Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike election 2015 election in India

The 2015 Greater Bengaluru Municipal Corporation election was held on 22 April 2015 in all 198 Wards of Bangalore (Bengaluru).

The 5th Kollam Municipal Corporation council election was held on 8 December 2020 and the result announced on 16 December. LDF won 39 seats, UDF fronts won 9 seats, NDA won 6 seats and others won 1 seat. CPI(M) lead LDF won the majority to rule

The Bitou Local Municipality council consists of thirteen members elected by mixed-member proportional representation. Seven councillors are elected by first-past-the-post voting in seven wards, while the remaining six are chosen from party lists so that the total number of party representatives is proportional to the number of votes received. In the election of 18 May 2011 no party obtained a majority; the Democratic Alliance (DA) and the African National Congress (ANC) won six seats each, with the remaining seat going to the Congress of the People (COPE). The DA and COPE formed a coalition to govern the municipality.

2021 Kolkata Municipal Corporation election Election to Kolkata Municipal Corporation, 2021

The 2021 Kolkata Municipal Corporation election was held on 19 December 2021 to elect 144 members of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) which governs Kolkata, the capital of the Indian state of West Bengal. A total of 40,48,357 electors were eligible to vote in the KMC election. The results were announced on 21 December. The All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) won the election by an overwhelming majority and captured 134 out of 144 wards. Firhad Hakim was elected as the mayor of Kolkata. In this election, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 3 seats, Left Front won 2 seats, Indian National Congress (INC) won 2 seats and independent candidates won 3 seats.
