The 2015 Wrestling World Cup - Men's freestyle was The last of a set of three Wrestling World Cups in 2015 .
Wrestling World Cup is an international wrestling competition among teams representing member nations of the United World Wrestling (UWW) the sport's global governing body. The championships have been conducted every year since the 1973 tournament. The World Cup began as a dual-meet competition for the top teams on each continent, but now features the top teams in the rankings of the previous year's world championships.

Mavlet Alavdinovich Batirov is a Russian freestyle wrestler, world and 2-time Olympic champion, who competed in the men's freestyle 55 kg category at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the gold medal.
Vladimer Khinchegashvili is a Georgian freestyle wrestler who competes in 55–61 kg categories. He won a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics and a gold in 2016. He also won a world title in 2015 and European titles in 2014, 2016 and 2017. In 2015, he was selected as Male Georgian Athlete of the Year by the Georgian Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.
Aisuluu Tynybekova is a Kyrgyzstani freestyle wrestler. She competed in the freestyle 63 kg event at the 2012 Summer Olympics, the first woman to wrestle for Kyrgyzstan in the Olympics. A legal dispute threatened to prevent Tynybekova from competing in London, but the case was delayed until after the Games. Tynybekova was eliminated in the 1/8 finals by Henna Johansson.
Pürevjavyn Önörbat is a Mongolian freestyle wrestler. He competed in the freestyle 74 kg event at the 2012 Summer Olympics and was eliminated by Davit Khutsishvili in the qualifications. At the 2016 Olympics, he lost to Soner Demirtaş in his first match.

Lenur Serverovych Temirov is an amateur Uzbek-born Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestler of Crimean Tatar origin, who competes in the men's lightweight category. He was the 2018 World Championship bronze medalist. He was also a bronze medalist at the 2010 Junior World Championships. Temirov is a member of the wrestling team for Dynamo Simferopol in his current residence Simferopol, and is coached and trained by Ismet Saliev.
Adam Mikhaylovich Kurak is a Russian Greco-Roman wrestler. He won a gold medal at the national championships in 2009, a silver medal in 2010 and bronze medals in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, he won a silver medal of the 2013 European Wrestling Championships. In 2014 at the Ivan Poddubny Golden Grand Prix won gold medal. Kurak won his first medal at a worlds at the 2015 World Wrestling Championships, where he lost to Rasul Chunayev but got back and won a bronze medal defeating Tsimur Berdyieu of Belarus. Kurak avenged his 2015 World Wrestling Championships loss to Chunayev, by defeating him in the 2018 European Wrestling Championships and ultimately won the gold medal in the final match of the category.

Golden Grand prix Ivan Yarygin 2010 champion, bronze medalist in 2009 and 2011, European Championships 2010 runner-up, Ramzan Kadyrov Cup 3rd 2010 and World Cup 2011 winner. Gadzhiev competed at Olympics 2016, but he lost to Frank Molinaro in the qualifications.

Representing the University of Iowa, Lee won the 2018 NCAA Division I National Championship in the 125-pound class, defeating Nick Suriano of Rutgers 5-1 in the final. He also won his 2nd National Title in the 125-pound class in Pittsburgh at the 2019 NCAA Division I National Championship, defeating Jack Mueller Of Virginia 5-0 in the final. His family moved from Denver, Colorado to Saegertown, Pennsylvania where he grew up to eventual Murrysville, Pennsylvania, where Spencer Lee went to Franklin Regional High School. There he was a teammate of another current Iowa Hawkeye Wrestler, Michael Kemerer. Spencer has a twin sister as well.
