Zach Rey (born March 27, 1989) is an American former wrestler. He competed for Lehigh Valley Athletic Club and represented the United States at the 2015 World Wrestling Championships at 125 kg in freestyle wrestling.
Rey was born in Hopatcong, New Jersey and attended Hopatcong High School from 2003 to 2007, where he was a three-time place wrestling winner of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association tournament and won two New Jersey state titles, in 2006 and 2007. [1] Rey was also an all-state New Jersey football player his senior year.
Rey attended Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where he was a four-time NCAA Division I qualifier and three-time place winner, finishing third in 2010, second in 2012, and winning an NCAA championship as a junior in 2011. Rey finished his collegiate wrestling career at Lehigh with 120 wins and 15 losses for a winning percentage of 89%.
While in college, Rey represented the United States at the 2010 University World Championships, where he finished in 8th place with a 1-1 record. Rey has since gone on to success at the senior level, making three freestyle national teams and finishing among the top three for the World Team and Olympic trials. He won two Pan American Championships (in 2013 and 2014), the Pan American Games (in 2015), the Dave Schultz Memorial (in 2013), and the Cerro Pelado International (in 2014 and 2015).[ citation needed ]
In 2015, after losing in the finals at the World Team Trials, Rey was awarded the opportunity to compete in the 2015 World Wrestling Championships after World Team Trials winner Tervel Dlagnev was forced to miss competition due to injury. Rey went on to finish 0-1 at the championships.[ citation needed ]
In 2019, Rey was hired by his alma mater, Lehigh University, where he served as assistant coach for the Lehigh Mountain Hawks college wrestling program. [2]
Cael Norman Sanderson is an American former folkstyle and freestyle wrestler who is the current head coach of Penn State's wrestling team. As a wrestler, he won an Olympic gold medal and was undefeated in four years of college wrestling at Iowa State (159–0), becoming a four-time NCAA Division I champion (1999–2002).
Steve Mocco is an American former amateur wrestler, judoka and mixed martial artist. As a collegiate wrestler, he was a two-time NCAA national champion, four-time finalist, and was awarded the Dan Hodge Trophy. In freestyle, he represented the US at the Olympics and was a three-time Pan American Champion. As an MMA fighter, he most notably competed at the WSOF. He is currently a coach at both combat sports, being one of the main coaches at MMA powerhouse American Top Team and an assistant wrestling coach at Lehigh University.
Kerry R. McCoy is an American wrestler and executive director and head coach of the Lehigh Valley Wrestling Club regional training center. He competed at the Olympic Games twice and four times at the World Cup Championships. In college, he was a three-time NCAA All-American and a two-time NCAA National Champion. He was the head coach of the University of Maryland's wrestling program for eleven years, stepping down in 2019. In 2014, McCoy was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame as a Distinguished Member.
Cole Konrad is an American retired mixed martial arts fighter. Konrad won a gold medal at the 2005 Pan-American Championships. He won the NCAA wrestling championships in 2006 and 2007 at 285 pounds and finished third at the 2006 World University Championships at 120 kilograms. He was the first Bellator Heavyweight World Champion.

The Penn State Nittany Lions wrestling program is the collegiate wrestling team at Pennsylvania State University. Adam Jacob Coon is an American heavyweight Greco-Roman wrestler. He was also a former professional football player, playing offensive guard for the Seattle Sea Dragons of the XFL, notable for not having played football in college. Coon was an accomplished wrestler at the state, national, and international levels. He was a 2011 Cadet World freestyle gold medalist, 2014 Junior World double bronze medalist in both Greco-Roman and freestyle, two-time NCAA Division I finalist, 2018 Senior World silver medalist in Greco-Roman, and a Pan American gold medalist in 2019 and silver medalist in 2020.
