The 2016 COSAFA Under-17 Championship is the 5th edition of the COSAFA U-17 Championship, an association football tournament organised by the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) involving teams from Southern Africa for players aged 17 and below. It took place in Mauritius from 22 to 31 July 2016.

Group H of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualification tournament was one of the thirteen groups to decide the teams which qualified for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals tournament. The group consisted of four teams: Ghana, Mozambique, Rwanda, and Mauritius.

The first round of CAF matches for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification was played from 7 to 17 October 2015.

The 2017 COSAFA Under-17 Championship is the 6th edition of the COSAFA U-17 Championship, an association football tournament organised by the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) involving teams from Southern Africa for players aged 17 and below. It will take place in Mauritius in July 2017.

The 2018 CAF Champions League qualifying rounds were played from 10 February to 18 March 2018. A total of 59 teams competed in the qualifying rounds to decide the 16 places in the group stage of the 2018 CAF Champions League.

The 2023–24 CAF Champions League qualifying rounds began on 18 August and ended on 2 October 2023. A total of 54 teams competed in the qualifying rounds to decide the 16 places in the group stage of the 2023–24 CAF Champions League.
