The International Judo Federation (IJF) was founded in July 1951. The IJF was originally composed of judo federations from Europe plus Argentina. Countries from four continents were affiliated over the next ten years. Today the IJF has 200 National Federations on all continents. There are over 20 million people around the globe who practice judo, according to the IJF.
Majlinda Kelmendi is a Kosovan-Albanian former judoka and judo coach.
Varlam Liparteliani is a Georgian judoka. He has won silver at Olympic and World level.
Nihel Cheikh Rouhou is a Tunisian judoka. She competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics in the +78 kg event.
Iryna Aliyeva, née Iryna Kindzerska, is a Ukrainian-born Azerbaijani judoka. In 2021, she won one of the bronze medals in the women's +78 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. She is also a two-time medalist at the European Judo Championships and a bronze medalist at the 2017 World Judo Championships and the 2019 European Games.
Kim Won-Jin is a South Korean judoka. He is a two-time World Championship bronze medalist and won a gold medal at the 2015 Asian Judo Championships.
Naohisa Takato is a Japanese judoka.
Kim Polling is a Dutch judoka competing in the women's 70 kg division. Quadruple European Champion Kim Polling was World #1 for 3 years. She bagged the Grand Slam gold in Antalya in 2021. She won various different Grand Slams. She took gold at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi 2019 and the Grand Prix in The Hague in 2017. Polling was World and European Junior Champion in 2010. Polling took bronze at the World Championships in 2013. Polling won four Judo World Masters in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2019. She took gold at the 2016 Grand Prix Tbilisi and Grand Prix in Tunis in 2018. She took bronze at the 2021 Judo World Masters in Doha, Qatar in 2021.
Sagi Aharon Muki is an Israeli half-middleweight judoka. Muki is the 2019 World Champion. He also won the 2015 and 2018 European championships.
Or "Ori" Sasson is a retired Israeli Olympic judoka. He won a bronze medal in the +100 kg category at the 2016 Summer Olympics and another one at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He is the second of two Israelis to win two Olympic medals.
Shira Rishony is an Israeli Olympic lightweight judoka. She competed at U48 kg. She competed for Israel at the 2016 Summer Olympics and at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Iakiv Mykhailovych Khammo is an Assyrian-Ukrainian judoka. He is the 2015 World bronze medalist in the +100 kg category and competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Frank de Wit is a Dutch judoka. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's 81 kg event, in which he was eliminated by Ivaylo Ivanov in the second round.
Gulnoza Jumaboy qizi Matniyazova is an Uzbekistani judoka. She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the women's 70 kg event, in which she was eliminated in the first round by Katarzyna Kłys. She also competed in the women's 70 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

Baruch Shmailov is an Israeli judoka. He competes in the under 66 kg weight category, and won a silver medal in the 2018 World Masters in Guangzhou. Shmailov won a bronze in the 2017 World Masters, and in 2018 Düsseldorf Grand Slam. In March 2018 he was ranked #5 in the world in the U66 kg division. He competed for Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Tohar Butbul is an Israeli judoka. He competes in the under 73 kg weight category, where he won silver medals at the 2019 Judo World Masters and the 2021 European Championships, and won bronze medals in the 2017 Paris Grand Slam and 2017 Abu Dhabi Grand Slam. As of March 2018 he was ranked #9 in the world in the U73 kg division.
The Judo World Masters is an annual invite-only judo competition. After being open for only the top 16 ranked judoka in each weight class for its first eight installments, the tournament was expended to host the top 36 of each weight class in 2019. The world masters is the only world tour event with no limitation on the number of judoka competing from any single national association.
The IJF World Tour is a worldwide top-tier judo tour, organized by the International Judo Federation since 2009.
