Kiefer Ravena Filipino basketball player

Kiefer Isaac Crisologo Ravena is a Filipino professional basketball player for the NLEX Road Warriors of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Ravena played for the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the UAAP during his college days. He plays point guard position.

Almond Pineda Vosotros is a Filipino professional basketball player for the TNT Tropang Giga of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). In 2018, he signed with Mono Thewphaingarm of the GSB Thailand Basketball Super League. After the season ended, he signed with PEA of the Thailand Basketball League.

The Philippines men's national basketball team represents the Philippines in international basketball competitions. It is managed by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas. A 1936 founding member of FIBA Asia, Philippines is one of the oldest teams and has one of Asia's longest basketball traditions. The team won a bronze medal in the 1954 FIBA World Championship for men, the best finish by any team outside the Americas and Europe. Also, the team took a fifth-place finish in 1936 Summer Olympics, the best finish by any team outside the Americas, Europe and Oceania. The Philippines has the most wins in the Olympics among teams outside the Americas, Europe and Oceania.

The Philippines national basketball team, led by head coach Tab Baldwin, participated at one of the three the FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournaments which was hosted at home after failing to win the final against China at the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship where the champion automatically qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics.

2016 SEABA Cup

The 2016 SEABA Cup was the qualifying event in the SEABA for the 2016 FIBA Asia Challenge. The fifth edition of the games took place from 22 May to 28 May 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Qualifying for the 2016 FIBA Asia Challenge is currently being held to determine the eight teams that will participate in the 2016 FIBA Asia Challenge, aside from the host team Iran and 2015 FIBA Asia Championship winners China. Qualification is via FIBA Asia zone, with each zone having an automatic one berth, plus additional berths from the teams' zones of the second and third runners-up in the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship.

Raoul Cesar Escueta Racela is a Filipino professional basketball coach. He is the head coach for the Blackwater Bossing of the Philippine Basketball Association

2017 SEABA Championship

The 12th Southeast Asia Basketball Association Championship was the qualifying tournament for the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup. It also served as a regional championship involving Southeast Asian basketball teams. It was held from 12 to 18 May 2017 in the Philippines.

The Philippines men's national basketball team, led by head coach Chot Reyes qualified for the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup and the first round of the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup Asian qualifiers by earning the sole Southeast Asia berth at the 2017 SEABA Championship. In the first round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifiers the Philippines was grouped with Australia, Japan and Chinese Taipei. They won over Japan in Tokyo and secured a win over Chinese Taipei at home in Quezon City. They will play against the two teams one more time as well as Australia twice in 2018.

Qualification for the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup was held to determine the sixteen participants in this FIBA Asia Cup.

Tyler Lamb is a Thai-American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Long Beach State and UCLA.
