It was his record-extending 10th Monte Carlo Masters title, becoming the first man in the Open Era to win 10 singles titles at the same tournament. Nadal also claimed his Open Era record 50th clay court title.
Rafael Nadal defeated Stan Wawrinka in the final, 6–2, 6–3, 6–1 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2017 French Open. It was his record-extending tenth French Open title and 15th major title overall. Nadal became the first man to win ten singles titles at the same major. He won the title without losing a set for a record-equaling third time, not losing more than four games in any set played. He lost only 35 games during the tournament, his personal best, and the second-best in the tournament's history after Borg in 1978. Nadal also became the third man, after Ken Rosewall and Pete Sampras, to win a major title in his teens, twenties, and thirties.

It was his record-extending 11th Monte-Carlo Masters title and his record 31st Masters title. By winning the title, Nadal also retained the ATP no. 1 singles ranking. He did not lose a single set during the tournament.

Jannik Sinner defeated Alex de Minaur in the final, 7–5, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2024 Rotterdam Open. It was his 12th ATP Tour singles title. With the win, Sinner became the first Italian to reach world No. 3 on the ATP rankings in singles. Sinner also became the first male player since Lleyton Hewitt, in 2001, to win his debut event as Grand Slam champion, after his Australian Open victory the previous month.
Andrey Rublev defeated Félix Auger-Aliassime in the final, 4–6, 7–5, 7–5 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2024 Madrid Open. It was his second Masters 1000 and 16th career ATP Tour singles title. Rublev became the second Russian man to win the tournament, after Marat Safin in 2004. Auger-Aliassime was the first Canadian singles finalist since the tournament's inception in 2002.
