The 2017 Mountain West Conference Baseball Tournament took place from May 24 through 28 at Santa Ana Star Field in Albuquerque, New Mexico, home field of the conference's regular-season champion New Mexico. The conference's top four teams from the regular season met in a double-elimination tournament. The winner of the tournament, San Diego State, earned the Mountain West Conference's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. [1] [2]
The conference's top four teams were seeded based on winning percentage during the round-robin regular season schedule. The tournament opened with the top seed playing the lowest seeded team, and the second-seeded team playing the third seed, followed by double-elimination play until the champion was determined.

The Southeastern Conference Baseball Tournament is the conference tournament in baseball for the Southeastern Conference (SEC). It is a double-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season records. The winner receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. The SEC Tournament champion is separate from the conference champion. The conference championship is determined solely by regular season record.
The Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament is the conference championship tournament in baseball for the Sun Belt Conference. The winner of the tournament receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. After Coastal Carolina University hosts the competition in Conway, South Carolina in 2019, the tournament will move to a neutral site, Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, AL, from 2020 to 2024.
The Mid-American Conference Baseball Tournament is the conference baseball championship of the Mid-American Conference, Division I members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). In its final format, the top six finishers participated in the double-elimination tournament, which was most recently played at Crushers Stadium in Avon, Ohio, from 2012 through 2019. The winner of the tournament received an automatic berth to the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship. The tournament began in 1981, but was not held from 1984 through 1991. It returned in 1992 and was held annually through 2019. It was scheduled to be played in May 2020, but was cancelled in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. As part of several changes announced in May 2020 related to the pandemic, the tournament was eliminated along with the post-season tournaments of seven other sports, for at least four seasons. The conference, however, announced in May 2021 that the baseball tournament, along with all other conference tournaments that had been eliminated, would be restored for the 2021–22 athletic season. Kent State has won the most tournament titles with 12, followed by Eastern Michigan with four.

The top six regular season finishers of the league's seven teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at San Diego State's Tony Gwynn Stadium. Top seeded TCU won their fourth Mountain West Conference Baseball Championship with a championship game score of 2-0 and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2010 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2009 Mountain West Conference Baseball Tournament took place from May 19–23. The top six regular season finishers of the league's seven teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at Texas Christian University's Lupton Stadium. Sixth seeded Utah won their first and only Mountain West Conference Baseball Championship with a championship game score of 9-3 and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2009 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. Utah joined the Pac-12 Conference after the 2011 season without winning another title.
The 2008 Mountain West Conference Baseball Tournament took place from May 20–24. The top six regular season finishers of the league's seven teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at Texas Christian University's Lupton Stadium. Top seeded TCU won their third straight and third overall Mountain West Conference Baseball Championship with a championship game score of 15–2 and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2008 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2006 Mountain West Conference Baseball Tournament took place from May 23–27. All seven of the league's teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at University of Nevada, Las Vegas's Earl Wilson Stadium. In their first year in the league, top seeded TCU won their first Mountain West Conference Baseball Championship with a championship game score of 9–6 and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2006 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2013 Mountain West Conference Baseball Tournament took place from May 22–26. All six of the league's teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at California State University, Fresno's Pete Beiden Field. It was Fresno State's first year in the league after joining from the Western Athletic Conference. San Diego State won the tournament for the second time, earning the Mountain West Conference's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2003 Mountain West Conference Baseball Tournament took place from May 21–24. All six of the league's teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at University of New Mexico's Isotopes Park. Top seeded UNLV won their first Mountain West Conference Baseball Championship with a championship game score of 14–9 and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2003 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2000 Mountain West Conference Baseball Tournament took place from May 17–20. This was the first championship tournament for the conference, which was formed prior to the 2000 NCAA Division I baseball season. All six of the league's teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at University of Nevada, Las Vegas's Earl Wilson Stadium. Second seeded San Diego State won the inaugural Mountain West Conference Baseball Championship with a championship game score of 9–4. As the Mountain West was a new league, they did not possess an automatic bid to the 2000 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament, and no conference team was invited.
The 2001 Mountain West Conference Baseball Tournament took place from May 16–19. This was the second tournament held by the league. All six of the league's teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at San Diego State University's Tony Gwynn Stadium. Top seeded BYU won their first Mountain West Conference Baseball Championship with a championship game score of 4–3 and earned the conference's new automatic bid to the 2001 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2013 West Coast Conference Baseball Tournament was held from May 23 through May 25 at Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton, California. It was the first postseason championship event sponsored by the West Coast Conference since 2009, the first such event to be held at a neutral site, and the first to feature more than two teams. In the championship game, San Diego defeated San Francisco, 2–0, to win its first tournament championship. As a result, San Diego earned the league's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2014 Mountain West Conference Baseball Tournament took place from May 21–25. All seven of the league's teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at University of Nevada, Las Vegas's Earl E. Wilson Stadium. This is San Jose State's first year in the league after joining from the Western Athletic Conference. San Diego State won the tournament, earning the Mountain West's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2016 West Coast Conference Baseball Tournament was held from May 26 through May 28, 2016 at Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton, California. Saint Mary's won the four team, double-elimination tournament winner to earn the league's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

The 2017 West Coast Conference Baseball Tournament was held from May 25 through May 27, 2017 at Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton, California. BYU won the four team, double-elimination tournament and earned the league's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2017 Ohio Valley Conference Baseball Tournament will be held from May 24 through 28. The top six regular season finishers will meet in the double-elimination tournament, to be held at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, Alabama. The tournament champion will earn the conference's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. Among current members, Austin Peay has won the most championships, with six, while Belmont, SIU Edwardsville ,and Tennessee–Martin have never won championships. The Tournament began in 1979.
The 2017 Horizon League Baseball Tournament was held from May 24 through 27 at Les Miller Field at Curtis Granderson Stadium in Chicago, home to conference regular-season champion UIC. The top six finishers of the league's seven teams met in the double-elimination tournament. UIC won the tournament to earn the conference's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
The 2018 Mountain West Conference Baseball Tournament took place from May 24–27. Nevada, San Diego State, San José State, and UNLV met in the double-elimination tournament held at Tony Gwynn Stadium in San Diego, California. San Diego State earned the Mountain West Conference's automatic bid to the 2018 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
