The double elimination tournament features four teams from each division.

Seeding and format

The four eligible teams in each division will be seeded one through four, with the top seed from each division facing the fourth seed from the opposite division in the first round, and so on. The teams then play a two bracket, double-elimination tournament with a one-game final between the winners of each bracket.

College World Series a college baseball tournament conducted by the NCAA

The College World Series (CWS) is an annual baseball tournament held in June in Omaha, Nebraska. The CWS is the culmination of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Baseball Championship tournament—featuring 64 teams in the first round—which determines the NCAA Division I college baseball champion. Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament

The Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament is the conference championship tournament in baseball for the Sun Belt Conference. The winner of the tournament receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. After Coastal Carolina University hosts the competition in Conway, South Carolina in 2019, the tournament will move to a neutral site, Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, AL, from 2020 to 2024.

2012 Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament

The 2012 Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament took place at Lee–Hines Field, on the campus of Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA from May 16 through May 20, 2012. The Prairie View A&M Panthers won their third tournament championship and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

The 2012 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament began on May 17 and ended on May 20, 2012 at Marty L. Miller Field, on the campus of Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA. It is an eight-team double elimination tournament. Bethune-Cookman won the tournament, as they have done each year but one since the tournament began in 1999. The Wildcats claimed the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

The 2013 Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament was held at LaGrave Field in Fort Worth, Texas from May 15 through May 19, 2013. First seed from the East Jackson State won their fifteenth tournament championship and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

The 2014 Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament was held at Wesley Barrow Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana from May 14 through May 18, 2014.
