The 2018 Aussie Racing Car Series was an Australian motor racing series open to Aussie Racing Cars, which are silhouette racing cars which use Yamaha FJ1300 engines and Kumho Tyres. [1] It was sanctioned by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) as an Authorised Series with the Series and Category owner, Aussie Racing Cars Pty Ltd, appointed by CAMS as the Category Manager. [2] The series commenced at Baskerville Raceway in Tasmania on 23 February and concluded on 21 October at the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit. [3] James Duckworth was the defending series winner heading into the 2018 series, but opted not to defend his title.
The series was won by Joel Heinrich. [4]

Aussie Racing Cars (ARC) is an Australian motor racing category. ARC is a motorcycle powered silhouette racing car class created by former touring car racer Phil Ward and influenced by the American Legends category. Aussie Racing Cars was developed as a Major National Category supporting the V8 Supercars under an exclusive Category Management Agreement (CMA) with the Confederation of Australian Motorsport (CAMS).
The Australian Formula Ford Championship is an Australian motor racing competition for drivers of Formula Ford racing cars, held annually since 1970. From 1970 until 1992 it was a national series and from 1993 until 2013 the series was sanctioned by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport as the Australian Formula Ford Championship. From 2014 to 2018 it reverted to national series status. The Australian Formula Ford Championship name was then applied to the series by the Formula Ford Association from 2019.

It was the second running of the Australian GT Performance Car Championship.
The 1985 Australian Drivers' Championship was a CAMS sanctioned Australian motor racing title open to racing cars complying with Formula Mondial. It was the 29th Australian Drivers' Championship and the fourth to be contested by Formula Pacific-based Australian Formula 1 cars or by the similar Formula Mondial cars. The championship winner was awarded the 1985 CAMS Gold Star.
The 2012 Formula 3 Australian Drivers' Championship was a CAMS sanctioned national motor racing title with the winner awarded the 2012 CAMS Gold Star award. The 2012 championship was the 56th Australian Drivers' Championship and the eighth to be contested with open wheel racing cars constructed in accordance with FIA Formula 3 regulations. The 2012 Australian Formula 3 Championship title was also awarded to the series winner. The championship began on 1 March 2012 at the Adelaide Street Circuit and ended on 23 September at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit after seven rounds across six different states with three races at each round.
The 2013 Touring Car Masters was an Australian motor racing competition for modified Touring Cars manufactured between 1 January 1963 and 31 December 1976. It was sanctioned by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport as a National Series with Australian Classic Touring (3D) Cars Pty Ltd appointed by CAMS as the Category Manager. It was the seventh annual Touring Car Masters series.

It was the 58th Australian Drivers' Championship and the tenth to be contested with open wheel racing cars constructed in accordance with FIA Formula 3 regulations. The championship began on 27 February at the Adelaide Parklands Circuit and ended on 2 November at Sydney Motorsport Park after seven rounds across five different states and territories. Formula 3 Management Pty Ltd was appointed by CAMS as the Category Manager for the Championship. The championship was promoted as the 2014 Formula 3 Australian Drivers' Championship with the winner awarded the 58th Australian Drivers' Championship and the 14th Australian Formula 3 Championship.

The title, which was the 18th Australian GT Championship, was won by Richard Muscat, driving a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3.

It was the second Australian Formula Ford Series to be staged following the withdrawal of national championship status from the Australian Formula Ford Championship at the end of 2013.

The 2018 CAMS Porsche Wilson Security Carrera Cup Australia Series was an Australian motor racing competition for Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. The series, which was the 14th Porsche Carrera Cup Australia, commenced on 1 March at the Adelaide Street Circuit and finish on 21 October at the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit after eight rounds. 2018 saw the introduction of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup type 991.II model to the series.
