Race calendar

Calendar for the 2018 season. [11] All races are scheduled to be held in Japan.

Race 9 at Okayama International Circuit was postponed due to severe weather conditions. The race was rescheduled for a later round at the same circuit, and was subsequently postponed again to be run at Sportsland SUGO. [12]

Sportsland Sugo is a motorsports facility in the town of Murata, Shibata District, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. It opened in 1975 and is one of the largest motorsports facilities in Japan, with a total area of 2.1 million m². The 2010 Japanese Formula 3 Championship was the 32nd edition of the Japanese Formula 3 Championship. It commenced on April 17 at Suzuka and ended on October 17 at Autopolis after 16 races held at eight race meetings.

The 2011 Japanese Formula 3 Championship was the 33rd edition of the Japanese Formula 3 Championship. It commenced on May 14 at Suzuka and ended on September 24 at Sportsland SUGO after 16 races held at seven race meetings. It had been due to start there on 16 April, but was delayed due to the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan in March.

The 2013 Japanese Formula 3 Championship was the 35th edition of the Japanese Formula 3 Championship. It was the first Formula Three championship that accepted new FIA Formula 3 engine rules.

Ryō Hirakawa is a Japanese racing driver who is currently competing for Toyota Gazoo Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship. He was Super GT GT500 champion in 2017, and finished runner-up in Super Formula in 2020. He has competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship in the Hypercar class since 2022, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans in his debut season and the championship title in 2022 and 2023 alongside co-drivers Sébastien Buemi and Brendon Hartley. Hirakawa is also signed to McLaren's Driver Development Programme as a reserve driver for the 2024 Formula One season.

The 2014 Japanese Formula 3 Championship was the 36th edition of the Japanese Formula 3 Championship. It was held over 7 rounds and a total of 15 races, commencing on 12 April at Suzuka and culminating on 12 October at Fuji Speedway.

The 2015 Japanese Formula 3 Championship was the 37th edition of the Japanese Formula 3 Championship.

Toshiki Oyu is a Japanese racing driver for Toyota Gazoo Racing who currently competes in Super GT for Team Cerumo and in Super Formula for INGING. He was previously a factory driver for Honda until 2023.

Sena Sakaguchi is a Japanese racing driver for Toyota Gazoo Racing who is currently competing in Super GT for Racing Project Bandoh and in Super Formula for Cerumo・INGING. He is the champion of the 2020 Formula Regional Japanese Championship.

The 2022 Super Formula Lights Championship was the third Super Formula Lights Championship season, after the Japanese Formula 3 Championship was rebranded following the end of the 2019 season. It featured drivers competing in Dallara 320 chassis and with engines made by three different manufacturers, a similar regulation format to the Euroformula Open Championship.

Hiroki Otsu is a Japanese racing driver who is currently competing in Super GT with ARTA, and in Super Formula for TCS Nakajima Racing as a substitute driver for Naoki Yamamoto.
