The 2018 Pan American Track Championships took place at the Aguascalientes Bicentenary Velodrome, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, from August 29 until September 2, 2018. The event served as a qualifier for the 2019 Pan American Games.

Aguascalientes is the capital of the Mexican state of the same name and its most populous city, as well as the head of the Aguascalientes Municipality; with a population of 948,990 inhabitants in 2012 and 1,225,432 in the metro area. The XXIII 2019 Pan Am Badminton Championships was a continental championships tournament of badminton in Pan America. This tournament was held as two events in different countries. From 14 to 17 February, the team event was held in Lima, Peru. From 25 to 28 April, the individual event was held in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
